Please be advised that elevated 𝙋𝙈2.5 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙨 and haze conditions have been observed across various regions, reaching 𝙐𝙣𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙐𝙣𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙨. While advisories are heavily active across Metro Manila and surrounding provinces, regional monitoring indicates that weather patterns and transboundary haze can also impact air quality across 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙨, 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙠𝙡𝙖𝙣.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our school community, please take note of the following safety guidelines:

😷 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀: Use proper respiratory protection (such as N95 or well-fitting masks) when going outside or traveling to and from school.
🏃‍♂️ 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Heavy physical activities, sports practice, and outdoor assemblies are temporarily suspended or adjusted.
👁️ 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘀: Be mindful of health warning signs such as persistent coughing, eye irritation, or difficulty breathing.

Seven years of excellence, opportunity, and empowering Malaynon dreams! ✨

Founded in 2019 under Municipal Ordinance No. 396, Malay College was established to answer a long-time dream of our local community: to have accessible, quality higher education right here in our town.

Before Malay College, many of our youths faced tough choices—traveling to Kalibo or other provinces for college or giving up on higher education due to financial constraints. In fact, as of 2020, only 14.50% of individuals in Malay aged 20 and above had completed college education. Malay College was built to bridge this gap, providing free tertiary education and hands-on vocational training so that no Malaynon youth gets left behind.

From our soft opening in 2021 to achieving a 100% Certificate of Program Compliance from CHED and offering top-tier technical training, we continue to grow as a Premier Hall of Knowledge of Excellence.

Today, we celebrate how far we’ve come and look forward to the many bright futures we will continue to build together! 🎓✨

In light of the prevailing Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the continuous heavy rains affecting our area, the safety and well-being of our students and personnel remain our utmost priority.

📚 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Please strictly follow the prescribed schedule and actively participate in all classes, whether face-to-face or online. Comply with attendance requirements, academic activities, and instructions from your instructors. We also urge you to exercise utmost caution when traveling to and from the College, especially during periods of heavy rainfall.

👩‍🏫 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀: You are expected to report physically to Malay College during regular working hours. Online classes shall be conducted from designated areas/facilities within the College.

👩‍💼 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹: Please continue to report physically to the College and perform your regular duties.

This temporary arrangement is designed to minimize exposure to the risks of flooding and difficult travel conditions while ensuring the continuity of instruction and learning.

The College Administration will continue to monitor the weather situation and may make necessary adjustments as circumstances warrant.
