BSEd Science major students of Northern Iloilo State University – Ajuy Campus took a big academic step as they successfully held their Pre-Oral Defense today, February 13, 2026, at the Audio-Visual Room.

The room was filled with ideas, questions, and exciting discussions as students presented their descriptive-developmental research and shared sketches of their science innovations. From defending concepts to explaining data, the presenters showed confidence, creativity, and serious passion for science.

With guidance, questions, and helpful feedback from the panel and statistician, the activity became more than just a requirement — it was a real learning experience that pushed everyone to think deeper and aim higher.

🌿 Standing together for a future that thrives.
The Nexus of Scientific Minds joined the Green Shores: NSTP Mangrove for Life activity in Brgy. Pedada, Ajuy, Iloilo—an eye-opening experience that strengthened our commitment to environmental stewardship and community involvement.

Led by the Office of the National Service Training Program, with the support of ZSL Philippines, the National Service Reserve Corps – NISU Ajuy Chapter, and the NISU Ajuy–Young Environmentalist Society, we worked alongside fellow volunteers to restore the coastline and nurture a healthier, more resilient ecosystem.

Each mangrove seedling planted became a symbol of hope—hope for stronger natural defenses, richer biodiversity, and a community united in caring for the environment. As young scientists, we move forward with a deeper understanding that science is not only learned, but lived through purposeful action. 🌱🌊✨
