𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 | 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗖 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬: 𝗔𝗝𝗨𝗬 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗛 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗬𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗕𝗢𝗬𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗬

𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐜 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐣𝐨, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 – In a moment that will forever be etched in Ajuy National High School’s sports history, the Griffins soared to victory, claiming their first-ever Gold Medal in the Volleyball Boys Secondary division. Facing off against the formidable Neo Spikers of Roberto H. Tirol National High School – Concepcion, the Griffins emerged undefeated champions of Quinto Distrito, sealing their legacy with a flawless 7-0 record.

With their powerful mantra, “BATO AJUY!”, echoing throughout the tournament, the team displayed unwavering determination and heart. Their journey from underdogs to champions captured the spirit of resilience, grit, and teamwork.

Head Coach Mr. Jenewel Azuelo, the architect of this historic triumph, reflected on their victory in a heartfelt Facebook post:

"People love underdog stories. So here's to our little Davids who conquered their Goliaths."

Beyond their physical prowess, the team credits their success to an unshakable foundation of faith. "Above all, the team firmly believes that their triumph was made possible through their unwavering faith in God, whose strength and guidance sustained them throughout the competition, empowering them to overcome every challenge and emerge victorious."

This championship was a collective effort, shaped by the dedication of their coaching staff. Assistant Coach Matan C. Punsalan played a crucial role in strengthening the team’s mental, emotional, and spiritual resilience, making them tougher and more unified. Trainer Rhafy Sazon pushed them through intense physical training and tactical preparation, ensuring they were ready for battle. Meanwhile, Head Coach Jenewel M. Azuelo provided the in-game strategies and smart decision-making that steered the Griffins to victory.

Their triumph was further fueled by the unwavering support of the entire Ajuy National High School Faculty and Staff, led by Dr. Marilyn E. Dolendo, who stood behind the team every step of the way.

This victory is not just a testament to the team’s skill and discipline but also to the power of faith, hard work, and community support.
