𝐔𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐖 — 𝐒𝐄𝐓𝐘𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐑𝐄 3, 2026

Umigting ang sigla, saya, at pagkamalikhain ng mga Asafian sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, na isinagawa sa ilalim ng temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Apat na koponan ang nagtagisan ng husay, talento, at pagkakaisa sa iba’t ibang gawain at paligsahan: Kabagsik, na binubuo ng mga seksyong Japan at Malaysia; Arawani, na kinabibilangan ng Philippines at Cambodia; Mandirigma, na kinakatawan ng India at Hongkong; at Siklab, na binubuo ng China at Singapore.

Sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang pagtatanghal, gawain, at kompetisyon, naging sentro ng programa ang pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino bilang mahalagang bahagi ng pagkatuto, pananaliksik, at pagpapalitan ng impormasyon.

Sinimulan ang unang araw ng programa sa pag-awit ng Pambansang Awit at panalangin, na sinundan ng pambungad na mensahe ni Cher Hannahly Casimero. Sa kaniyang mensahe, binigyang-diin niya ang kahalagahan ng pagiging responsable sa paggamit ng Artificial Intelligence o AI. Ipinaalala rin niya na dapat manatiling kasangkapan ang AI at hindi maging kapalit ng sariling kakayahan, kaalaman, at pag-iisip.

Sinundan ito ng mga pagtatanghal mula sa ASAFI Dance Company at Communicators Guild, na naghatid ng enerhiya at kasiyahan sa mga manonood. Sa bawat pagtatanghal, ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talento at malikhaing paraan ng pagpapahayag.

Naging tampok din sa unang araw ang iba’t ibang patimpalak tulad ng pagsulat ng sanaysay, pagguhit ng poster, pagsulat ng slogan, pagkukuwento, at spoken poetry. Sa bawat kompetisyon, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang mga mag-aaral na gamitin ang wika bilang daluyan ng kanilang mga ideya, pananaw, at malikhaing pagpapahayag.

Pagsapit ng hapon, nagpatuloy ang kasiyahan sa pamamagitan ng mga paligsahang nagbigay-diin naman sa musika, pakikipagtulungan, at kulturang Pilipino. Kabilang dito ang OPM Love Song Duet, OPM Love Song Doble Kara, at Laro ng Lahi. Sa mga pagtatanghal at laro, kapansin-pansin ang suporta ng bawat koponan sa kanilang mga kinatawan, na lalong nagpalakas sa diwa ng pagkakaisa at pagkakaibigan sa buong pagdiriwang.

Sa pagtatapos ng unang araw, hindi lamang mga puntos at parangal ang naging bunga ng mga kompetisyon. Naging pagkakataon din ang mga ito upang maipakita ng mga Asafian na ang wikang Filipino ay maaaring maging makapangyarihang kasangkapan sa sining, musika, kultura, at malikhaing pagpapahayag.

𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐖 — 𝐒𝐄𝐓𝐘𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐑𝐄 4, 2026

Sa ikalawang araw ng kulminasyon, sa umaga, ay ibinahagi ng mga pangkat ang kanilang husay at galing sa pakikilahok sa Sabayang Pagbigkas at Katutubong Sayaw. Ipinagmalaki ng bawat pangkat ang kanilang husay, determinasyon, at talento.

Sa hapon naman ay ang pinaka-inaantay ng lahat: ang Lakan at Lakambini 2026. Dito ay ipinakita ng mga kandidata at mga kalahok ang kanilang husay at kagandahan/kagwapuhan sa Production Number. Sa Katutubong Kasuotan, ipinamalas ng mga kalahok ang kanilang pagsuot ng ating mga katutubong damit. At sa huli, ipinakita ng mga kalahok ang pagiging matipuno at kagandahan sa kanilang pagsuot ng pambansang kasuotan: ang Barong Tagalog at Bestida.

Sa pagtatapos ng pagdiriwang, iniwan ng mga Asafian ang entablado na hindi lamang may dalang mga parangal, kundi mga bagong karanasan, alaala, at aral. Higit sa kompetisyon, naging daan ang Buwan ng Wika upang maipakita ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talento, mapalawak ang kanilang kaalaman, at higit na pahalagahan ang wikang Filipino sa gitna ng mabilis na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya.

Sa panahong kayang maghatid ng AI ng napakaraming impormasyon sa loob lamang ng ilang segundo, nananatiling mahalaga ang kakayahan ng tao na magtanong, magsuri, lumikha, at mag-isip. Maaaring maging tulay ang teknolohiya tungo sa mas malawak na kaalaman, ngunit ang tunay na pag-unawa at karunungan ay nananatiling nasa kamay ng tao.

ASAFI Volleyball Teams Battle Through Competitive Tournament Campaign

Asian Skills Academy Foundation, Inc. (ASAFI) showcased resilience and determination as its women’s and men’s volleyball teams competed against strong opponents throughout the tournament.

Women’s Volleyball

Asian Skills Academy Foundation, Inc. (ASAFI) fought back from an early setback to defeat Computer Research Network, Inc. (CRNI) in a thrilling three-set women’s volleyball match, 2–1.

CRNI came out strong in the opening set, taking control of the game and securing a 25–19 victory over ASAFI. Facing an early deficit, ASAFI responded with renewed intensity in the second set.

ASAFI leveled the match by winning the second set, 25–22, setting up a decisive third set.

With momentum on their side, ASAFI delivered when it mattered most, edging CRN, 15–11, in the final set to complete the comeback and claim the match victory.

ASAFI later faced Father Saturnino Urios College of Trento, Inc. (FSUCTI) in another competitive matchup. FSUCTI secured the opening set, 25–21, while ASAFI continued to battle throughout the match.

The second set proved more decisive, with FSUCTI pulling away from ASAFI, 25–14, to complete the 2–0 match victory.

Despite the result, ASAFI’s women’s team demonstrated resilience throughout its campaign, highlighted by its comeback victory over CRNI.

Men’s Volleyball

ASAFI secured a hard-fought victory over CRNI in a thrilling men’s volleyball match, overcoming an early setback to claim the win in three sets.

CRNI opened the match strongly, edging ASAFI 25–23 in the first set. ASAFI responded emphatically in the second set, dominating CRNI 25–12 to level the momentum and put themselves in control.

The deciding third set proved to be a closely contested battle, but ASAFI held their composure and finished with a 15–12 victory.

With the comeback win, ASAFI emerged as the overall winner, rallying from a first-set loss to take the next two sets and close out the match.

ASAFI then faced Father Saturnino Urios College of Trento, Inc. (FSUCTI), with Urios securing a straight-set victory. FSUCTI established control in the opening set, winning 25–13.

ASAFI put up a stronger fight in the second set, but FSUCTI remained composed and closed out the set, 25–20.

The two teams met again in the men’s volleyball championship, where ASAFI battled for the tournament title. FSUCTI immediately asserted its dominance in the opening set, cruising past ASAFI, 25–12.

ASAFI attempted to mount a response in the second set, but FSUCTI remained in control. The championship match ended with a 25–15 second-set victory for FSUCTI, giving the team the title in a 2–0 sweep.

ASAFI finished as the men’s volleyball runner-up after battling through the tournament and reaching the championship match.

Overall, ASAFI’s volleyball teams demonstrated resilience and determination throughout their respective campaigns, highlighted by their comeback victories over CRNI and the men's team run to the championship match.

The 2026 Cluster Meet Soccer Match brought an atmosphere of excitement and competition as Asian Skills Academy Foundation, Inc. (ASAFI) faced Father Saturnino Urios College of Trento, Inc. (FSUCTI) on the field. With both teams determined to showcase their abilities, the match became a test of skill, teamwork, and perseverance.

Before the match kicked off, both teams took time to warm up and prepare for the challenge ahead. The ASAFI players began with stretching exercises and passing drills, while FSUCTI also went through their own warm-up routines. These preparations helped the players get physically ready, sharpen their coordination, and build focus before stepping into the competition.

Once the game started, both teams displayed determination and resilience despite the intense heat. FSUCTI made the first breakthrough by scoring the opening goal, giving them an early advantage. ASAFI responded with determination, continuing to attack and defend while looking for opportunities to level the score.

The hot weather made the match even more physically demanding, but neither team allowed the conditions to weaken their spirit. Every pass, run, defensive play, and shot reflected the hard work and preparation the players had invested in representing their respective schools.

As the game continued, the intensity increased. Both teams fought for possession and created opportunities, demonstrating their skills and commitment to the competition. FSUCTI maintained their advantage while ASAFI continued to challenge their defense and look for opportunities to score.

FSUCTI secured a 2–1 victory over ASAFI at the end of the match.

Regardless of the final outcome, the match serves as a valuable experience for both teams. Their performance demonstrates the importance of discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship—qualities that go beyond the scoreboard.

The 2026 Cluster Meet Futsal Competition brought together Asian Skills Academy Foundation, Inc. (ASAFI) and Father Saturnino Urios College of Trento, Inc. (FSUCTI) in a competitive match between the two teams.

Before the match officially began, both teams took time to warm up and prepare for the game. The players from ASAFI and FSUCTI performed stretching exercises, light running, passing drills, and other warm-up activities. Despite the hot weather, both teams remained focused and enthusiastic as they prepared on the field.

When the match began, the players battled through the heat while demonstrating speed, skill, and teamwork. Every pass, defensive play, and attempt to score reflected the effort of both teams throughout the match.

FSUCTI became the first team to score, giving them an early advantage. ASAFI responded with a solid defensive effort, limiting FSUCTI's chances to extend its lead. The players from both teams continued running, defending, passing, and attacking despite the physically challenging conditions.

As the match progressed, FSUCTI managed to maintain their momentum and add more goals to their score. ASAFI continued to give their best effort and never gave up until the final whistle.

The match ended with a 3–0 victory for FSUCTI. While FSUCTI celebrated their win, ASAFI could also take pride in their defensive effort throughout the match.

The hot weather and demanding pace of the game made the competition challenging, but both teams continued to compete until the final whistle. The match gave the players an opportunity to showcase their skills and experience the spirit of competition.

With minds racing and strategies unfolding one move at a time, the Asafians chess contenders stepped onto the board at Father Saturnino Urios College of Trento, Inc., determined to turn careful calculations into a strong finish.
As the Asafians represented our school, the contenders entered the competition prepared, relied on patience, concentration, tactical thinking, and discipline.

The Asafians contenders began with calculated openings, carefully developing their pieces and studying their positions. Instead of rushing their moves, the players focused on building solid positions and creating opportunities through strategic play.

As the matches progressed, the Asafians players encountered increasingly challenging positions. They responded by adjusting their strategies, protecting their pieces, and searching for tactical opportunities with patience.

Each of the six ASAFI players - three female and three male - competed in six sets. The female players recorded a total of two set wins, while the three male players secured two set wins each, giving the ASAFI chess team a total of eight set wins.

The competition reached crucial moments as the Asafians contenders fought to maintain their positions. Through careful calculations and timely decisions, the players continued to battle for every advantage on the board.

As the final set unfolded, the Asafians chess contenders remained focused until the last move.

The Asafians chess players have shown that the game is more than simply winning or losing. Their performance reflects strategy, discipline, patience, and resilience.

For the Asafians chess contenders, the game may end at the final move, but the drive to strategize, improve their skills, and rise continues.

The Sepak Takraw competition between the Asian Skills Academy Foundation, Inc. (ASAFI) and Father Saturnino Urios College of Trento, Inc. showcased the players’ determination, skills, and competitive spirit during the Inter-Private School Cluster Meet.

The opening matches featured both the girls’ and boys’ divisions, with players from both schools giving their best on the court.

Representing ASAFI were Baby Jane Arevalo, Keisha Maglinti, Doblero, Espartero, Sebastian, Songol, Plaza, and Bronze Analasan.

Urios secured victories over ASAFI in both the girls’ and boys’ opening matches. The players displayed strong teamwork, coordination, discipline, and determination throughout the games.

Despite the losses, the ASAFI players remained composed and demonstrated good sportsmanship. The competition gave both teams an opportunity to gain experience, improve their skills, and represent their schools with pride.

The opening Sepak Takraw matches emphasized the importance of teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship as the athletes competed with determination and respect.
