Cebolin National High School officially opened the School Year 2026–2027 with enthusiasm, excitement, and a warm welcome to all learners on June 8, 2026.

The day commenced with the regular flag ceremony, followed by a short opening program skillfully facilitated by Ma'am Lotty Aguilon. During the program, learners, parents, teachers, and stakeholders gathered to celebrate the beginning of another academic year filled with hope and opportunities.

In her inspirational message, 𝓢𝓬𝓱𝓸𝓸𝓵 𝓟𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓬𝓲𝓹𝓪𝓵 𝓘𝓘, 𝓜𝓪'𝓪𝓶 𝓗𝓪𝓲𝓭𝓮 𝓖. 𝓜𝓪𝓰𝓪𝓵𝓸𝓷𝓪, warmly welcomed the learners and encouraged them to embrace the new school year with dedication, discipline, and determination. She emphasized the importance of education in achieving their dreams and challenged everyone to strive for excellence in their academic journey.

One of the highlights of the program was the energetic 𝓜𝓮𝓮𝓽 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓖𝓻𝓮𝓮𝓽 of the teaching and non-teaching personnel. Learners enthusiastically welcomed the faculty and staff, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and positivity. The activity strengthened the connection between learners and educators, fostering a friendly and supportive learning environment.

To promote punctuality and commitment, Ma'am Haide also recognized the 𝓣𝓸𝓹 10 𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓼 (𝓹𝓮𝓻 𝓼𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷) who arrived early on the first day of classes. These learners received simple rewards as tokens of appreciation for their exemplary behavior. The recipients expressed their gratitude, while their fellow learners were inspired to practice punctuality throughout the school year.

Meanwhile, Cebolin NHS continued its enrollment activities as parents and guardians actively visited the school to enroll their children. The school was also honored by the presence of Mrs. Melanie Binayao, who joined the opening activities and extended her support as one of the school's valued stakeholders in welcoming the learners.

During the program, a sudden earthquake was felt in the area. Fortunately, all learners, teachers, and visitors were already gathered at the school grounds and were immediately accounted for. The school community remained calm and safe, and everyone expressed gratitude that no one was harmed during the incident.

Following the program, class advisers proceeded with their respective classroom orientations. Learners were introduced to school policies, classroom rules, academic expectations, and other important information necessary for a productive and successful school year.

Indeed, the opening of classes at Cebolin National High School was marked by unity, safety, and optimism, setting a positive tone for a meaningful and productive School Year 2026–2027.

𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗘 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 I 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗡 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Cebolin National High School successfully concluded its ARAL Summer Program 2026 through a meaningful culmination ceremony attended by parents, stakeholders, community partners, and school personnel.

The program formally opened with a prayer followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. In her welcome message, School Principal II, Mrs. Haide G. Magalona, warmly welcomed all guests and expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the parents, partner stakeholders.

As part of the celebration, the school recognized the invaluable contributions of the ARAL Tutors for their dedication and perseverance in making the program a success. The ARAL Tutees were also awarded Certificates of Completion in recognition of their active participation and learning achievements. In addition, school supplies sponsored by Mr. Billy Panong were distributed to the learners. The school extends its sincerest gratitude to Mr. Panong for his generosity and continued support to the school community. To make the occasion even more memorable, the ARAL Tutors presented thoughtful gifts to their respective tutees.

Adding inspiration to the event, Hon. Roger E. Duzal, Barangay Captain of Cebolin, delivered an encouraging message, motivating the learners to continue striving for excellence and to cultivate the habit of reading. Likewise, Mrs. Amy M. Ronquillo, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of Trento District, emphasized the importance of reading as an essential life skill and encouraged learners to become lifelong readers.

Meanwhile, the SPTA President shared her thoughts on the success of the program, highlighting the significant progress and development she witnessed among the learners as well as the continuous improvement of the school.

The culmination program ended successfully, reflecting the strong partnership and collaborative efforts among the school, parents, stakeholders, and the community. Cebolin National High School proudly acknowledges the dedication of the ARAL Tutors: Mrs. Lovelen D. Gastalla, Mrs. Lotty Aguilon, Mrs. Jona Joy Fare, Mrs. Evelyn Coste, and Mr. Jerrymie Lobo. Special recognition is also given to the School ARAL Coordinator, Mr. Chandel Blanco, together with the faculty members, volunteer teachers, and staff whose unwavering support contributed to the success of the ARAL Summer Program 2026.

Indeed, the program stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in nurturing learners and promoting literacy for a brighter future.
