Tupa ES holds 5th SPTA Conference and 4th Quarter Recognition Program

Tupa Elementary School conducted its 5th School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) Conference, 4th Quarter Recognition Program, and Distribution of Report Cards on March 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM, bringing together parents, teachers, and learners in a collaborative effort to celebrate academic achievements and strengthen school-home partnership. 📚🏫

The program opened with the singing of the Nationalistic Song, followed by an invocation led by Mrs. Maricel D. Ramos, Kindergarten Teacher, and the singing of the School Hymn. Mr. Dennis C. Dela Cruz, Grade 5 Adviser, delivered the welcome remarks, acknowledging the presence of parents and stakeholders who continuously support the school’s
programs and initiatives.

Attendance checking and an energizer activity were facilitated by Ms. Aivy Cantillo, Grade 1 Adviser, setting a lively and engaging atmosphere among participants. PTA updates were then presented by Mrs. Lita Cabais, PTA Vice President, highlighting ongoing projects and future plans of the association.

Dr. Franklin V. Fernandez, Officer-in-Charge Principal, provided important updates on End-of-School-Year (EOSY) activities and reminders, emphasizing the significance of parents’ active involvement in ensuring the successful completion of school requirements and activities.

A highlight of the event was the Awarding of Certificates of Recognition to Academic Excellence Awardees, led by Dr. Fernandez together with the class advisers, honoring learners who demonstrated outstanding academic performance during the fourth quarter.

The distribution of report cards followed, allowing parents to review their children’s academic progress and performance.

The program concluded with closing remarks delivered by Mrs. Leonides Noche, Grade 3 Adviser, who expressed gratitude to parents and stakeholders for their unwavering cooperation and commitment to the learners’ success. The program was facilitated by Mrs. Mary Rose N. Nañasca, Grade 2 Adviser, who served as the master of ceremonies. #

SOSA highlights major accomplishments, big wins of Tupa ES

TUPA, AGNO, Pangasinan — Dr. Franklin V. Fernandez, Officer-in-Charge Principal of Tupa Elementary School, delivered the State of the School Address (SOSA) 2026 this morning, March 27, at the school covered court, highlighting the school’s major accomplishments amd big wins anchored on the School-Based Management (SBM) Dimensions.

Teachers, parents, learners, and stakeholders gathered to witness the presentation of the school’s progress in the areas of curriculum and teaching, learning environment, leadership, governance and accountability, human resource and team development, finance and resource management.

Among the highlights of the address was the success of the ARAL Program, which reduced the number of learners requiring intervention from 34 to only 4, demonstrating significant improvement in academic performance. In the Division Reading and Numeracy Assessment, Grade 3 learners ranked 4th in Reading across the Municipality of Agno, while only three Grade 4 learners were identified as non-non-proficient in Numeracy.

Learners also showcased excellence in co-curricular activities, with several participants winning in the District Math Challenge, and seven learners advancing to the Division Math Challenge. The school likewise celebrated the election of Janna Evangelista as District YES-O Club President for School Year 2026–2027, further strengthening student leadership representation.

Significant developments in school facilities were also presented, including the construction of a concrete school fence funded through the Special Education Fund (SEF), PTA support, and stakeholder donations. Additional improvements such as installation of SMART TVs, repair of classroom windows, repainting of school structures, and enhancement of the flagpole and mini-stage contributed to a safer and more conducive learning environment.

Dr. Fernandez also highlighted the strong commitment of teachers to professional growth, noting that 99% of teachers participated in various trainings, while three teachers were promoted from Teacher III to Teacher VI under the Expanded Career Progression.

In his closing message, Dr. Fernandez emphasized his vision of transforming Tupa Elementary School into a School of Excellence and Character, guided by the collective commitment of the school community under the shared identity of , , , at .

Tupa ES holds School-Based Fire Safety Orientation

In support to Fire Prevention Month, Tupa Elementary School conducted a School-based Orientation cm Symposium on Fire Safety this morning, March 23, 2026, at the school's covered court, anchored on the theme “Hangad Nating Lahat, Pamayanang Handa, Aktibo at Masagana.”

The activity was participated in by Tupa ES learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6, teaching personnel, and select parents and guardians, all of whom actively engaged in the discussions and demonstrations on fire safety awareness.

Invited resource persons from the Bureau of Fire Protection–Agno Fire Station, namely FO2 Gilbert F Labonete and FO1 Nicholson O Carandang, led the orientation. They demonstrated the proper safety procedures in using fire extinguishers and oriented the learners on essential safety tips to follow in case of fire incidents in school and at home. Following their informative session, the resource speakers were awarded Certificates of Recognition in appreciation of their invaluable service and support.

Dr. Franklin V. Fernandez, Officer-in-Charge Principal, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Agno BFP for being a constant partner of the school in implementing programs and activities that promote the safety and well-being of learners and personnel.

Meanwhile, an inspection of the school offices and classroom electrical wirings was conducted after the symposium. It was noted that Tupa Elementary School remains compliant with fire safety inspection standards, reflecting the school’s commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all. 🔥✅
