TUPA ES PROVIDES SAFETY HELMETS TO TEACHERS, LEARNERS

In support of the school’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) mandate, Tupa Elementary School provided safety helmets to all teachers and learners as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen preparedness and ensure the safety of the school community during emergencies.

The provision of safety helmets aims to equip teachers and learners with basic protective gear that may help reduce the risk of head injuries during earthquakes, structural incidents, and other emergency situations.

The initiative forms part of the school’s broader DRRM efforts to promote a culture of preparedness, safety, and resilience among all members of the Tupa ES community.

Under the leadership of Dr. Franklin V. Fernandez, School Principal I, the school continues to implement practical safety measures and preparedness initiatives that place the protection and well-being of every learner and school personnel at the forefront.

TUPA ES STRENGTHENS ARAL IMPLEMENTATION THROUGH SLAC

Tupa Elementary School conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on the Implementation of the ARAL Program for SY 2026–2027 this afternoon after classes, September 24, 2026.

The session was spearheaded by Dr. Lee C. Corpuz, Master Teacher I and SLAC Coordinator, under the leadership and supervision of Dr. Franklin V. Fernandez, School Principal I.

Key discussions focused on the MOSY Assessment results, profiling and grouping of learners, scheduling of ARAL sessions, and preparation of learning materials for targeted intervention and remediation.

The activity underscored the school’s commitment to data-informed, responsive, and collaborative learning interventions to help every learner address learning gaps and achieve meaningful progress. #

TUPA ES STRENGTHENS SCHOOL SAFETY THROUGH ACTIVE THREAT ORIENTATION

Tupa Elementary School conducted an Orientation on Active Threats Awareness, Warning Signals, and Protective Actions today, September 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM, as part of the school's continuing efforts to strengthen preparedness and promote a safe and secure learning environment.

The orientation was facilitated by resource persons from the Philippine National Police–Agno Municipal Police Station (PNP-Agno MPS), PMSG Valerie S Nialla and PAT Chester V Monreal, who shared essential information and practical guidance on recognizing potential active threats, understanding warning signals, and taking appropriate protective actions during emergency situations.

The activity also familiarized the school community with appropriate emergency response procedures and emphasized the importance of remaining calm, following instructions, maintaining accountability, and coordinating with school authorities and emergency responders during critical incidents.

The orientation forms part of Tupa Elementary School's implementation of its School Contingency Plan for Active Threats for SY 2026–2027 and its commitment to safeguarding the welfare of its learners and personnel.

TUPA ES HOLDS 5th FACULTY MEETING

Tupa Elementary School conducted its 5th Faculty Meeting this afternoon at the Grade 6-Diamond Room, bringing together the teaching personnel to discuss important updates and concerns related to curriculum implementation and school operations.

The meeting focused on several key agenda items, including the Implementation of ARAL Program, submission of 2nd Term Budget-of-Work (BOW) and Lesson Plans, and the submission of relevant school reports.

The faculty also discussed upcoming school activities, particularly the Orientation on Active Threats, District Meet, and District GAD Training. Relevant DepEd issues and concerns and other matters concerning the effective implementation of school programs and initiatives were likewise taken up.

The meeting was facilitated by the Key Stage 2 teachers, headed by Dr. Lee C. Corpuz, Master Teacher I and Curriculum Chairperson, in coordination with the school administration.

The faculty meeting served as an avenue for strengthening coordination, ensuring compliance with school and DepEd directives, and preparing the teaching personnel for the successful implementation of upcoming programs and activities.

Tupa Elementary School conducts 1st Term PTA Conference and Distribution of Report Cards

Tupa Elementary School conducted its 1st Term PTA Conference and Distribution of Report Cards this afternoon, September 18, 2026 bringing together parents and guardians, teachers, and school administrators to discuss learners’ academic progress and overall development.

The activity provided an avenue for teachers to personally confer with parents and guardians regarding their children’s academic performance, attendance, behavior, strengths, and areas for improvement during the first term. Report cards were also distributed to parents and guardians as part of the school’s regular assessment and reporting process.

The conference emphasized the importance of strong home-school partnership in supporting learners’ growth and achievement. Teachers shared relevant feedback and recommendations, while parents and guardians were encouraged to maintain open communication with teachers and actively support their children’s learning at home.

KINDNESS IS OUR SUPERPOWER: TUPA ES CONDUCTS ANTI-BULLYING SYMPOSIUM

Tupa Elementary School conducted an Anti-Bullying Symposium this morning, September 18, 2026, for learners in Grades 4–6 as part of the school’s continuing advocacy for a safe, inclusive, respectful, and child-friendly learning environment.

Carrying the theme “Kindness is our Superpower: A Gender-Responsive Advocacy Program on Anti-Bullying, Positive Discipline, and Cyber Safety for Grades 4–6 Learners,” the symposium provided the 29 participating learners with age-appropriate discussions on bullying prevention, gender responsiveness, positive discipline, respect for diversity, and responsible behavior.

Mrs. Leonides C. Noche, Teacher VI and School Guidance Designate, served as one of the resource persons. She discussed Understanding Bullying, focusing on its different forms—physical, verbal, social, and cyberbullying—as well as the effects and consequences of bullying on individuals and the school community.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Mary Rose N. Nanasca, Teacher VI, discussed Gender Responsiveness and Respect for Diversity, emphasizing the importance of recognizing differences, treating everyone with dignity, and fostering an inclusive school environment. She also tackled Positive Discipline and Responsible Behavior, encouraging learners to make respectful and responsible choices in their interactions with others.

Through meaningful discussions and advocacy, the symposium empowered learners to recognize bullying, understand its impact, promote kindness and respect, and become responsible members of the school community—both in face-to-face interactions and in the digital world.

The activity reaffirmed Tupa Elementary School’s commitment to nurturing mga Batang Tupa who are not only academically capable but also compassionate, respectful, responsible, and advocates of a safe and inclusive school.

Tupa ES holds 1st Term Spelling Bee

Tupa Elementary School conducted its 1st Term Spelling Bee this morning, September 18, 2026, as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen learners’ spelling skills, vocabulary, confidence, and love for the English language.

The competition brought together learners from Grades 2 to 6, who showcased their knowledge and skills in spelling through a challenging yet engaging academic activity.

At the conclusion of the competition, the Best Speller from each grade level was recognized for demonstrating accuracy, focus, and proficiency in spelling. Each awardee received a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of their achievement and participation in the activity.

The Spelling Bee provided learners with an opportunity to develop not only their language skills but also important values such as confidence, perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The school congratulates all the participants and awardees for their commendable performance and encourages all learners to continue reading, learning, and expanding their vocabulary.
