School-Based Deworming Program Conducted by RHU -Lacub
The Lacub Rural Health Unit (RHU) successfully conducted a deworming activity among the learners of Lacub Central School. The activity aimed to promote good health, prevent intestinal parasites, and improve the overall well-being of the pupils. Proper orientation was first given to the learners regarding the importance of deworming, followed by the administration of deworming medicine under the supervision of RHU personnel and school staff. The activity was carried out smoothly and safely, ensuring the learnersโ health and welfare.

Lacub Central School successfully conducted Early Registration for Kindergarten and incoming Grade 1 learners in preparation for the upcoming school year.
The activity aimed to identify and enlist prospective enrollees, ensure smooth class planning, and inform parents and guardians about enrollment requirements and school policies.
All qualified incoming Kindergarten learners and Grade 1 pupils were encouraged to come to the school from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to avail of the early registration.
Teachers assisted parents throughout the process, verified required documents, and provided guidance on the next steps. The activity was well-attended and strengthened the schoolโs commitment to providing accessible and organized basic education services to the community.

National Toothbrushing Day and National Dental Month
Lacub Central School actively participated in the simultaneous observance of National Toothbrushing Day and National Dental Health Month in line with DM-OUGOPS-2026-08-08371 and Regional Memorandum No. 094, s. 2026. The activity included an orientation on proper oral hygiene, a synchronized toothbrushing activity, and the Bright Smiles activity. These activities aimed to increase awareness on dental health and instill proper oral hygiene practices among learners, promoting healthy and confident smiles.

St. Joseph Seminary successfully conducted an admission test for Grade 6 male pupils who are interested in pursuing their studies at the seminary.
The activity aimed to assess the academic readiness, aptitude, and potential of the applicants as they prepare for a life of disciplined study, spiritual formation, and service.
The admission test was held in an orderly and conducive environment, ensuring fairness and comfort for all examinees.Seminary staff and facilitators were present to assist and guide the pupils throughout the activity.
Overall, the conduct of the admission test was smooth and well-organized. It served as an important step in identifying young individuals who show promise not only academically but also in character and commitment.
The seminary administration extends its gratitude to the parents, pupils, and staff who contributed to the success of this activity

The Endline Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment of learners from Lacub Central School was conducted through standardized weighing and height measurement procedures.
The activity was facilitated by the Lacub Rural Health Unit (RHU) to assess the nutritional status of the learners and to provide data for monitoring and planning appropriate health interventions.โ

In preparation for the upcoming school year, the Department of Education (DepEd) will conduct Early Registration in public schools for School Year 2026โ2027.
๐ FACE-TO-FACE EARLY REGISTRATION will be held.

๐ REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION
* Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
* ECD Checklist (for Transferees) / Report Card (for Grade 1)

* FOR INCOMING Kindergarten: Five (5) years old on or before October 31, 2026.
* FOR INCOMING Grade 1: Currently enrolled in Kindergarten SY 2025โ2026.
