The Gayaman Elementary School (GES) community sincerely expresses its appreciation to SB Member Junel Dacquel for his visit and inspection of the ongoing AVR repair and construction, as well as the preparation of the area between the IPED Room and the school fence for the establishment of the Learning Continuity Space (LCS).

The visit was also attended by SB Member Roden Daoaten and Hon. Captain Federico Saoadan, who engaged in a brief discussion with our School Head, Ma’am Florenda A. Ingo and teachers, regarding the ongoing AVR repair and the landscaping and preparation of the designated area for the Learning Continuity Space (LCS).

GES is grateful for the continued support and partnership of our local stakeholders in improving school facilities and creating safe, conducive, and resilient learning spaces for our learners.

BRIGADA PLUS | CONTINUED CLEAN-UP DRIVE FOR THE SCHOOL LEARNING CONTINUITY SPACE

Gayaman Elementary School successfully conducted the continuation of its Brigada Plus through a collaborative clean-up and clearing activity in preparation for the establishment of the Learning Continuity Space (LCS).

The activity was made possible through the active participation and support of our dedicated parents and volunteer personnel from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB), who generously shared their time, effort, and service in clearing and preparing the designated area.

This initiative reflects the strong partnership among the school, parents, volunteers, and community stakeholders in creating a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for our learners.

Gayaman Elementary School extends its heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to this meaningful endeavor. Together, we continue to strengthen our commitment to safe, resilient, and learner-centered education.

MORE THAN A FLAG CEREMONY—A MORNING OF LEARNING, AWARENESS, AND RESPONSIBILITY. 🇵🇭

Our heartfelt gratitude to Patrolman Rustom Sug-ed, Patrolman Aison Igulado, and Patrolman Miller B. Dalang of the RMFB for taking the time to visit our Grade 6 learners before the Flag Raising Ceremony and engage them in a meaningful discussion on cyberbullying, responsible use of social media, and online safety.

The learning continued during the Flag Raising Ceremony as Patrolmen Rustom Sug-ed, Aison Igulado, and Miller B. Dalang reinforced important reminders on being responsible and mindful in the digital world. They also shared valuable lessons on personal safety, encouraging our learners to stay alert, make responsible decisions, and immediately seek help from trusted adults or authorities whenever they encounter potentially dangerous situations.

Thank you for your time, guidance, and continued partnership in keeping our learners informed, responsible, and safe.

Gayaman Elementary School successfully conducted the First Term Classroom PTA Meeting and Card Day this afternoon, September 18, 2026, with the active participation of parents and guardians from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

The classroom-based activity focused on the distribution of report cards and meaningful discussions on learners’ academic progress and overall development. The agenda included:

The activity provided an opportunity for teachers and parents to communicate openly, share concerns, and work together in providing appropriate support for every learner.

As a continuation of the First Term PTA activities, the school conducted the First Term General PTA Meeting and School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment (SMEA).

The meeting provided an avenue to discuss important school updates, learner progress, school accomplishments, programs and projects, identified needs, and areas for improvement. It also emphasized the importance of active parent participation and shared responsibility in supporting the school’s goals and the holistic development of every GESian.

Under the initiative of our School Head, Ma’am Florenda A. Ingo, Principal I, the activity further strengthened the partnership among parents, teachers, PTA Officers, and stakeholders in building a supportive learning environment.

Special thanks to Hon. Captain Federico Saoadan and PTA President Mr. Cesar I. Bumatay for their continued support of our school activities and PTA initiatives, and for sharing inspiring messages during the meeting. The Gayaman Elementary School (GESians), together with the teaching personnel of its satellite schools, Agumanay Elementary School (AES) and Tillilo Primary School (TPS), successfully conducted a School-Based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session after class hours.

Initiated through the leadership of our School Head, Ma’am Florenda A. Ingo, the professional learning session focused on “Early Language, Literacy and Numeracy (ELLN) with Focus on the Science of Reading (SOR): Comprehension Strategies and Assessment.”

The session was enriched by the expertise of Ma’am Sheena Rose U. Dumalanta, Teacher II of Agumanay Elementary School, who served as the Resource Speaker and shared relevant strategies and insights to strengthen teachers’ practices in reading comprehension, literacy instruction, and assessment.

The active participation of teachers from GES, AES, and TPS demonstrated their strong commitment to continuous professional development, collaborative learning, and the improvement of instructional practices. Through meaningful learning sessions such as this, our teachers continue to work together in addressing learners’ needs and promoting quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education.

Congratulations to our proud alumnus, Marcelino “Lenon” Valencia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcelino Pati of Zone 1, Gayaman, Luba, Abra.

A graduate of Gayaman Elementary School Batch 2004, Lenon continued his journey with dedication, successfully passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2024. Today marks another milestone as he begins his first day in government service as an Administrative Officer II at Casilagan, Banayoyo.

The GESians, together with the teaching personnel of Agumanay Elementary School and Tillilo Primary School, successfully participated in the School-Cluster-Based In-Service Training (INSET) held on September 10, 2026, at Gayaman Elementary School.

Anchored on the theme, “Empowering Teachers for Learner-Centered and Critical Thinking Instruction: Strengthening Literacy and Numeracy Interventions,” the training aimed to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competencies and strengthen effective instructional strategies that support improved literacy and numeracy outcomes among learners.

The activity was spearheaded through the initiative of Ma'am. Florenda A. Ingo, Principal I, with the valuable support of Ma’am Genevieve G. Patricio, Master Teacher II. Both school leaders also served as resource speakers, sharing their knowledge, experiences, and best practices to enrich the professional learning of the participating teachers.

The successful conduct of the INSET reflects the schools’ strong commitment to continuous professional development, collaborative learning, learner-centered instruction, and quality education for every child.
