Today, May 5, 2026, was a meaningful day for our school community as we successfully conducted the Parents’ Orientation for the Summer Remediation Program at Malabbaga Elementary School.
We felt both hopeful and inspired seeing our parents take time to attend, listen, and understand the purpose of this program. This is not just another school activity; it is a shared commitment to help our learners improve and succeed.
The Summer Remediation Program, which will run from May 6 to June 2026, includes ARAL Summer Reading and Math, as well as the Summer Academic Remedial Program (SARP). These are carefully designed to support learners who were identified as Low Emerging, High Emerging, and Frustration level in reading based on CRLA and Phil-IRI results, as well as those who are Not Proficient and Low Proficient in the Rapid Mathematics Assessment.
During the orientation, we discussed how important it is to work together; teachers and parents, to guide our learners. Progress will not happen overnight, but with patience, support, and consistent effort, we can help them build confidence and improve their skills.
To our dear parents, thank you for your presence, your openness, and your willingness to partner with us. Your support at home will make a big difference in your child’s learning journey.
As we begin this summer program, we are hopeful that this will be a season of growth, not only academically but also in building discipline, confidence, and love for learning among our learners.
Together, we move forward, for our children, for their future.
