Knowledge comes first, action follows. Before the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), learners from every grade level took part in an informative lecture on earthquake preparedness, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to respond safely during emergencies.
At exactly 9:00 AM, the school actively participated in the 2nd Quarter NSED, as learners, teachers, and school personnel put their learning into action through a coordinated earthquake drill. More than a routine activity, today's exercise reinforces our shared commitment to building a safe, prepared, and resilient school community.

Nutritional Status Baseline Assessment Successfully Conducted
Last June 11, the Nutritional Status Baseline Assessment was conducted through the dedicated efforts of the class advisers to gather essential data on the height and weight of learners.
This activity aims to determine the nutritional status of pupils and provide a basis for appropriate health and nutrition interventions throughout the school year.
The school extends its appreciation to all class advisers for their commitment and support in ensuring the successful implementation of this important health initiative.
Through collaborative efforts, we continue to promote the well-being of every learner and create a healthy environment conducive to learning.

Assessment in Progress!
Taping Elementary School is currently conducting the administration of the Rapid Math Assessment (RMA), Comprehensive Reading Literacy Assessment (CRLA), Phil-IRI and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Assessment to determine learners' current levels of performance and readiness for the school year.
These pre-assessments provide valuable data that will guide teachers in planning appropriate learning interventions and ensuring that every learner receives the support needed to achieve academic success.

Taping Elementary School successfully conducted a Child Protection Policy (CPP) Orientation attended by the PNP personnel of Dolores and the Barangay Secretary, highlighting the collaborative efforts of the school and community stakeholders in promoting and protecting the rights and welfare of every child.
The activity was spearheaded by Mrs. Jenelyn Baldemor, CPP Coordinator, whose commitment and leadership contributed to the successful conduct of the orientation.
The orientation was facilitated by the resource speakers, PMSg Jovelyn Bautista, Mrs. Rosario Glo Bragas, Mrs. Marinel R. Fabito, and Mrs. May Edina B. Timbreza, who shared valuable insights on the provisions of the Child Protection Policy and its vital role in ensuring a safe, secure, and child-friendly learning environment.

OPENING OF CLASSES | SCHOOL YEAR 2026β2027
Taping Elementary School officially opened its doors for another exciting and productive school year as learners, parents, and teachers gathered to mark the beginning of School Year 2026β2027.
The day commenced with a meaningful Flag Ceremony and a warm welcome from the school staff headed by Mrs.May Edina B. Timbreza, Principal II, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.
This was followed by a Parents' Orientation, where important matters such as the three-term school calendar, class program, grading system, and other significant school updates were discussed by the School Principal to ensure that parents are well-informed and actively engaged in their children's educational journey.
Simultaneously, learners participated in a Classroom Orientation, where they were introduced to classroom routines, school policies, learning expectations, and the exciting opportunities that await them throughout the school year.
With the strong partnership among the school, parents, and the community, Taping Elementary School remains committed to providing quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education for all.

The program served as a meaningful avenue for learners to strengthen their foundational skills, enhance their learning competencies, and prepare themselves for the upcoming school year. Through engaging and learner-centered activities, participants demonstrated growth, perseverance, and enthusiasm for learning.

Taping Elementary School warmly welcomed the monitoring visit of Maβam Hedwig M. Belmes, CID Chief and Mrs. Juli-an B. Tumalip, in support of the implementation of Oplan Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela for School Year 2026β2027.
