STRENGTHENING SCHOOL SAFETY, ONE STEP AT A TIME!

Taping Elementary School continues to strengthen its commitment to providing a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and stakeholders through the procurement and installation of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras funded through the School Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE).

This initiative is a proactive step toward enhancing school security, monitoring school premises, protecting school property, and promoting a culture of safety and accountability. Through responsible utilization of school resources, the school continues to prioritize improvements that contribute to a conducive environment where every learner can learn with greater confidence and peace of mind.

Ensuring the safety of our learners and school personnel goes beyond the classroom.

As part of the school’s commitment to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM), the School Head and Administrative Officer II, who also serves as the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (SDRRMO), conducted a thorough monitoring and inspection of the school premises.

The monitoring focused on the general condition of the school surroundings, classrooms, facilities, pathways, and other areas that may pose potential safety risks, especially amid the continuous effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

This proactive effort reflects the school’s commitment to preparedness, prevention, and prompt response to possible hazards. Through regular monitoring, potential risks can be identified early and appropriate actions can be taken to keep the school environment safe, secure, and conducive to learning.

Preparedness today means greater safety tomorrow.

The continuous effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) have brought challenging weather conditions, prompting the suspension of classes to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners. Yet, even when the school gates are temporarily closed, the doors to learning remain open.

Through the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM), our dedicated teachers continue to reach out to learners and provide meaningful learning opportunities that can be accomplished safely at home. From learning activities and self-learning materials to teacher guidance and communication with parents and guardians, education continues beyond the four walls of the classroom.

This is learning continuity in action—a testament to the commitment of our teachers, support of our parents, and determination of our learners. Together, we make sure that temporary disruptions do not become barriers to learning.

IGNITING THE SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIP AND UNITY!

Taping Elementary School officially opened its School Intramurals 2026 yesterday at exactly 3:30 in the afternoon with a meaningful and inspiring opening program that celebrated teamwork, discipline, and excellence.

The ceremony commenced with an opening prayer led by Mrs. Edilita Casuga, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Mrs. Perlita Asuncion. An inspiring message was delivered by our School Head, Mrs. May Edina B. Timbreza, Principal II, who encouraged all participants to compete with integrity, respect, and determination.

The competing teams namely the Red Phoenix and Black Titans were formally acknowledged by Mr. Romel Asuncion, while Ms. Czes Honey Lei Macaranas administered the Oath of Amateurism, reminding every athlete to uphold the true spirit of fair play and sportsmanship. The ceremonial Lighting of the Urn by Kendricks Buentipo symbolized the burning passion, unity, and perseverance of every participant.

The program culminated with the Formal Declaration of the Opening of the School Intramurals by Mrs. May Edina B. Timbreza, officially marking the beginning of this exciting celebration of sports and camaraderie.

May this year's intramurals inspire every learner to showcase not only athletic excellence but also discipline, respect, teamwork, and resilience—values that extend far beyond the playing field.
