𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

The Provincial Government of Abra announces that government work and classes both public and private will officially resume tomorrow, September 24, 2025, in the entire province.

However, classes from PRE SCHOOL to SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL remain SUSPENDED in the Municipalities of BOLINEY, MALIBCONG and TUBO until further notice, as safety remains the top priority.

The Provincial Government assures the public that continuous monitoring and assistance are being carried out to support affected communities, while ensuring a safe and steady return to normal operations.

Intramurals 2025: Unleashing Potential, Breaking Limits, Building Unity

Quidaoen National High School successfully held its Intramurals 2025 on September 12–13, with the theme “Unleashing Potential, Breaking Limits, Building Unity.”

The festive two-day event opened with a warm welcome from Mr. Eddie Dacayan, PTA Coordinator. The symbolic lighting of the Intramural Flame was led by swimming athlete Nathaniel Baldos, followed by the Pledge of Amateurism led by athletics athlete Rhon Jhon Khalix Costales. The games were officially declared open by Mr. Belmor Christian B. Pataray, Sports Coordinator.

One of the highlights of the opening ceremony was the Palarong Pambansa Ground Demonstration, where the Yellow Alligator Crushers emerged victorious. The succeeding matches were filled with energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship as the three powerhouse teams—the Yellow Alligator Crushers, Red Bayawak Blazers, and Blue Tuko Thunders—battled for supremacy.

After two days of thrilling competitions, the Blue Tuko Thunders dominated the overall championship, followed by the Yellow Alligator Crushers as 1st Runner-Up, and the Red Bayawak Blazers as 2nd Runner-Up.

Quidaoen NHS extends heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Quidaoen and Quidaoen Elementary School for lending their grounds as venues for the games. Special appreciation is also given to Sangguniang Bayan Member Wida Bautista for her thoughtful gift to the learners, which made the Intramurals 2025 even more memorable.

Indeed, the event showcased not only athletic excellence but also the values of unity, discipline, and camaraderie that embody the true spirit of sports.

"QNHS Youth Shine Bright at Linggo ng Kabataan 2025"

Quidaoen National High School proudly participated in the Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 Celebration held on August 23 at Lam-Ag Elementary School, San Juan, Abra. Under the guidance and coaching of Mr. Belmor Christian Pataray, QNHS representatives excelled in the competitions, with Christel Jhay Ayao of Grade 11 GAS emerging as Champion in the Slogan Making Contest and Arlyn Joy Lorenzana, also of Grade 11 GAS, earning 2nd Runner-Up in the Poster Making Contest. The event, facilitated by the Sangguniang Kabataan of San Juan, highlighted the creativity, ingenuity, and excellence of today’s youth.

We wrapped up Nutrition Month 2025 with a bang on August 8th! "Our cooking demonstration was a huge success!" and "We learned so much about sustainable food choices!"
We also learned a lot during the students' nutritalk.
