Western Philippines University proudly congratulates its BS in Social Work alumni for making it to the Top 10 of the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Social Workers!

Richelle Ann Andes of WPU Puerto Princesa City Campus secured 4th place, while Joseph Gazon of WPU Aborlan Main Campus landed 7th place among 7,334 passers nationwide.

𝐀 𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐏𝐀𝐌) 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐂) 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, granted last May 30, 2025 by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Earlier today, CHED Commissioner Dr. Marita R. Canapi, together with CHED MIMAROPA Regional Director Dr. Edna Imelda Fernandez-Legazpi, presented the certificate to WPU President Dr. Amabel S. Liao at the CHED Central Office.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐏𝐔'𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭!

Following the evaluation visit of the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) led by Dr. Ramon E. Woo, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Studies at John Paul College, together with CHED Education Supervisor Ronaldo U. Pedrosa, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) MIMAROPA has granted Western Philippines University (WPU) the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program at the Busuanga and El Nido campuses.

The approval affirms WPU’s continued compliance with CHED Memorandum Order No. 62, Series of 2017, ensuring quality standards in the delivery of the BSHM program.
