Growing up in a polygamous family with illiterate parents presented numerous challenges. My father, a driver, had children with multiple partners, but our family was the only one he stayed with after marrying my mother, his sixth wife. Despite his older age, he was gentle, and his passing in 2020 left a significant void.

As the firstborn of six, I've worked closely with my parents, facing the harsh realities of village life. In Sirunki, opportunities are limited, and livelihoods depend on farming – raising pigs, planting potatoes, carrots, onions, cabbage, and other vegetables that thrive in the cold climate. However, the low temperatures and high humidity prolong crop harvesting to over six months.

Our village, Porea Council Ward 21 Sirunki LLG, has a population of 3,000, but financial constraints hinder access to education. I, too, was forced to drop out after completing my second year studying fisheries and marine resources at UNRE Vudal in East New Britain.

Since 2019, I've navigated uncertainty, striving for a better future for myself and future generations. Despite the struggles, I remain hopeful and determined to create positive change in my village šŸ’”šŸ˜

This is the new ACE that my wife and I have established since 2024 in our village helping underprivileged children here in Porea Sirunki šŸ™

Transforming Primitive Mindsets to Prosperous Ones through Christian Education

At Ipae Valley Accelerated Christian Education, we empower underprivileged children in Porea Sirunki, Enga Province, to overcome war-torn mindsets. Our mission is to break poverty cycles by instilling Christian values in children and families.

Through balanced education and Godly principles, we replace uncivilized mindsets with civilized ones. Proverbs 22:6 guides our approach: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

By empowering young minds, we create a brighter future for generations. Our school motto embodies this vision. Thank you for joining us on this journey. Together, with faith in the almighty God, we can make a difference

SUBJECT: Request for Consideration of New ACE School Establishment in Porea Sirunki IPAE Valley

I am writing to bring to your attention the pressing need for a new ACE school in Sirunki IPAE Valley. As a concerned citizen, community leader, parent, and ACE teacher, I initiated a school in Sirunki IPAE Valley in 2024 with 20 students. However, enrollment surprisingly increased to 160.

This year, I am deeply troubled by the overcrowding, lack of resources, and inadequate classroom spacing. Our community faces significant challenges in providing quality education to its children. The existing schools are either burned down or shut down due to trouble fighting, and the area lacks a proper school. This has resulted in poor academic performance and decreased morale.

To address this critical issue, I respectfully propose the establishment of a new school in Porea Sirunki IPAE Valley. The proposed school site is strategically located approximately 300 meters from the main highway linking Laigam, Pogera, and Sirunki Wabag. Our team consists of two A.C.E-trained teachers, and we currently have 200 students enrolled. The school infrastructure includes drinkable running water and two pit toilets, and we plan to establish a feeder school for Sirunki Laek Primary.

The Porea Council Ward 19 has a growing population of over 2,000 residents. I firmly believe that this new school would provide quality education for underprivileged students in the Sirunki IPAE Valley, addressing the immediate needs of our community and contributing to the long-term growth and development of our district.

I would be delighted to discuss this proposal in further detail and explore ways to make it a reality. Thank you for considering my proposal. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this matter further.
