Four long years of stress, crash outs, happiness, sadness, wild adventures and most importantly hardwork have finally paid off. You all have certainly made your families and yourselves proud.

Our 3 day outreach journey has finally caught up with us. We concluded our day 3/3 at the TUBUSEREIA United Church to give thanks and praise to our savior for guiding us through our safe stay here in TUBUSEREIA and for the friends we’ve made along our first of its kind program.🛣️

We want to take this time to acknowledge everyone who participated in day 1 up until the last day or those who joined us along the way. Your help, generosity and and kindness is what kept us on our feet every single step of the way. We look forward to another stop in the years to come.🪴

The experience we’ve gainned from this program will help our club in building more activities around awareness and outreach that can benefit local communities and the youths especially.👬

🌱𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 : 𝗧𝗨𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗔 - 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗲 📍

𝗗𝗮𝘆 2 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 (𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 ) 🌱

🎯Today marked another milestone in our journey through our outreach program here in TUBUSEREIA village: Mirikone Beach. We had a generous helping hand from the families and youths in the surrounding communities who helped in building coastal resilience to fight climate change through the planting of mangroves.

✅ Planting mangroves can lead to Coastal Protection and Erosion Control. Thus, it serves as a natural barrier that can reduce the impcts of waves and flooding etc. 🌱

𝗗𝗮𝘆 1 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝘁 : 𝗧𝗨𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗔 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲.⚡️

⚡️Our first day out of three, turned out to be a successful one. We had an encounter with the students of TUBUSEREIA Junior Highschool and their staff.

🎯Our main highlights of the day surfaced around🎯

🧭1. The courses we study here at our university (PNG UNRE) and what it stands for.

👨‍🏫2. How each course studied leans towards sustainability practices and principles.

💼3. Brief background on our club (CSSA).

🎓4. How our UNIVERSITY allows us (Students, clubs etc) to give back to our communities in one way or another to build resilience, networking and collaboration through activities such as these (Outreach Programs and Book donations drives).

📚5. Book donation.

With that the Team wishes to acknowledge the hardworking administration and its staff and students at TUBUSEREIA Junior Highschool for promptly arranging our visit and welcoming us with open arms.
This marks a milestone for our club.

🎉 ANNOUNCEMENT | 2025 OUTREACH PROGRAM - TUBUSEREIA VILLAGE 🌱📚⛪

The PNG UNRE Central Students and Staff Association is proud to present our first-ever outreach program, a milestone event marking the beginning of something truly meaningful for our newly formed club.

📍 Location: Tubusereia Village, Central Province
📅 Dates: 1st – 3rd August, 2025

This 3-day program is a powerful step forward in our commitment to youth advocacy, environmental conservation, and sustainable community development. Each day is uniquely dedicated to making an impact in:

✅Day 1: School Awareness & Advocacy
Engaging with students at Tubusereia Junior High School to promote education, leadership, and informed decision-making for a better future.

✅Day 2: Mangrove Planting
We’ll be planting mangrove seedlings along the Tubusereia coastline to promote climate resilience and protect marine ecosystems.

✅Day 3: Community Engagement & Church Fellowship
Connecting with the local community through fellowship, worship, and meaningful interaction as we round off the outreach.

This event is the first of its kind under our banner, and we are excited to host many more in the years to come. We believe in building strong roots through community-led action, and this is just the beginning.
