After several years and many revisions our publication on the mammals of Honduras is finally out. 193 pages with 104 figures! By far the largest peer-review contribution I have ever been a part of. I am so honored to be a part of this massive effort led by the amazing Honduran biologist Manfredo Turcio-Casco. Thank you to all the other co-authors, Franklin, Bruce, Eric, Travis, Richard, Nicté, Danny, Daniel, Marcio, Nereyda, Hefer, and the legendary Don E. Wilson. I wish I could share this moment with my friend Eric Angel Ramos, who worked on the marine mammals with me for so many months. I know he would be proud of this work.
