NATIONAL GARAMUT NA MAMBU FESTIVAL
31st August – 2nd September, 2023
Theme: “Strive to preserve our Momase identity through greater participation in Arts and Culture Festival”

DAY 1: ARTS DISPLAY—Traditional /Contemporary Painting Exhibitions, Fashion displays, Flora displays, Traditional Dishes, String Bands and Theater Drama performances.
DAY 2: PIKININI TUMBUNA TAIM—Essay and Script Writing, Poems, Traditional Story telling, Dramas, Traditional performances and displays.
Special guest appearances by the University of Papua New Guinea.
DAY 3: CULTURAL DANCES— Featuring six (6) unique Traditional Dancing Groups of the 6 districts of East Sepik and 3 from the Mamose; West Sepik, Madang and Morobe.
Invitation is open to Schools, Tertiary Institutions, Cultural Groups, Theater Groups, String Bands, Traditional/Contemporary Artists and talented individuals –those who had participated on previous festivals who wish to showcase their products.
Participants will be given awards and consolation prizes. Registrations are now open!
