Let me share with you the beauty of pursuing an online degree with the Papua New Guinea University of Technology (PNGUoT)!

1. It’s very flexible: You can continue working, running your business, or doing your own thing while studying.

2. Registration is affordable: To register, you only need to meet the threshold of 60% of the total annual tuition fee of K5,345, which comes to K3,207. (K3,207 is the 60% registration payment to secure your place. The total annual tuition is K5,345, and the remaining balance is payable during the year.)

3. Access to Moodle LMS: Once registered, the UOT Online Team will ensure you are set up on the Moodle Learning Management System, where all lecture notes and learning materials are uploaded. If you’re busy during the day and miss a Zoom lecture, don’t worry. Lecture recordings are available online, allowing you to catch up at your convenience.

4. Assignments are submitted online: You’ll be given ample time to complete and submit your coursework.

5. Fully online learning: This is a four-year degree program delivered online. The only face-to-face requirements are the two semester tests per subject and final examinations, which are conducted at your nearest DODL Centre.

6. Scholarship opportunities: Students who achieve a GPA of 3.9 and above (out of 5.0) may qualify for the Government’s TESAS Scholarship Program.

7. School Fee Loans are available: Eligible students can apply for financial assistance to support their studies.

8. While commitment and discipline are important, students who fail one or two subjects can re-enrol the following year, complete the outstanding subjects, and continue with their degree program.

Monday 6th July. Term 3, Week 2

📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND TEACHERS OF MOGOL SECONDARY SCHOOL

Greetings to you all.

Following the recent Circular Instruction from the Southern Highlands Provincial Division of Education regarding the postponement of the National In-Service for Teachers (NIST), all students are hereby informed that Term 2 break has been rescheduled to one week only.

Therefore, all students are required to return to school on Monday, 29th June 2026, and classes will resume as normal. Parents and guardians are kindly requested to ensure their children return to school on time.

Please also note that the second week of the original Term 2 break has been moved to Term 3. As a result, the Term 3 break will now be two weeks, during which teachers will participate in the National In-Service for Teachers (NIST).

We encourage all students to return promptly and continue their learning without interruption.

Our administration strongly believes in the power of the Word of God, which has the ability to transform students’ lives completely and guide them toward a purposeful future.

In line with this commitment, the school has been very supportive of the TSCF Ministry. This week, a total of 21 students were sponsored to attend the 1st Upper Highlands TSCF Conference.

The conference commenced on Thursday 25th and will conclude on Sunday 28th of this Month at the Mt Hagen Park Secondary school in Hagen, Western Highlands Province. The conference is centered on evangelism and Bible-based teaching, with the aim of strengthening students’ spiritual growth, character development, and leadership capacity.

We believe that through this conference, the participating students will gain meaningful spiritual and educational insights. Upon their return, they are expected to positively impact the school community and contribute constructively to both their academic and spiritual development.
