Good morning all, belated Happy New Year to you all. Welcome to the New Academic year 2026 as this is the 2nd day of Teachers Resumption Week. Term 1 2026 begins next week Monday 26th January. Please be reminded and informed again that the Gr.10 and Gr.12 certificates are not yet here. Measurement Services Division (MSD) is still yet to print the certificates and dispatch to provinces and to each schools to give to students. Some points for us to consider for enrollment purpose as we are starting school next week, Week 1 of Term 1 2026
1. For Gr.11s, the name on the official signed selection list, acceptance letter, attainment certificate and copy of the screenshot of Gr.10 Results be presented for registration awaiting Gr.10 Certificate.
2. For students into Tertiary institutions, acceptance letter, attainment certificates, student ID, copy of screenshot of Gr.12 Results awaiting Gr.12 certificate.

Certificates will be printed and send to each province by end of January or the first week of February. The problem is with the printing of certificates by MSD and is faced by all schools in the country and not only Simbu.

Parents and citizens, be informed that Yauwe Moses Secondary School will be hosting it's 26th Annual Grade 12 Graduation.

Date: 14th November, 2025

Venue: YMSS school campus

Congratulations YMSS Gr.12 Class of 2024, it is now Official. Endorsed by Graduation Committee, 2024, Chairman Mr. Kiri

This is to officially inform all that 2024 Gr.12 Graduation is postponed to a later date, probably week 10.

Yauwe Moses Secondary school is in shock and truly sympathizes with the unfortunate and unexpected death of Mr. Solomon Simon, our former HOD Mathematics here and current Deputy Principal Administration, Muaina Secondary school. Mr. Simon was a very strong backbone of this school in his time here. He was always there in addressing difficult situations and was also one of our very committed and faithful teachers in delivering knowledge to his Advance Mathematics and Physics classes. He and Mrs Simon spent almost 16 years of their lives teaching at Chuave before moving to Muaina. His contribution and service to the children of Chuave is immense and will not be easily forgotten. Our deepest condolences to Mrs. Simon, our former Principal, kids Joycelyn, Joseph and Maxceline and his grandson. May God be with you in this difficult time. We are truly sorry from deep within, our deepest condolences.

EXAMS WILL STILL BE ON TUESDAY, 02/07/24. STUDENTS MUST COME TO SCHOOL NOW. Holiday is Over.
ADMINISTRATION

It's a bit late for introductions but this is Mr. Wayne Bagu, for Chuavens who know him, he was the former driver to Dora, Awo Dama and Shrek etc.., he's our school driver now. This is his 2nd year with YMSS. He's taken up our former driver Bitex's position. Bitex retired. Sor far So Good.
