From humble beginnings of APO training then transition into Nurse Aids. As the demand grew so the program changed to Community Health Worker which has produced hundreds of students who are now serving throughout PNG.

A new chapter began when the institution was officially upgraded to become the Rumginae School of Nursing. Today, it proudly offers both the Diploma in General Nursing and the Certificate IV in Community Health Worker programs, preparing compassionate, competent, and professional health workers to meet the nation's evolving healthcare needs.

Soon we are looking into the future with optimism that new programs will be added. It is only a matter of persistence and time.
