Good day, everyone,
We are proud and excited to announce a new partnership between the UPNG Gulf Students Association and the ITI Gulf Students Association.
ITI GSA, established in 2026, marks a powerful step forward for Gulf students, and we congratulate them on this achievement. This partnership reflects unity, growth, and a shared vision to empower our people and give back to our province.
Together, we will be working closely throughout the year, with a major focus on our Gulf Night fundraising event. This initiative will support our joint end-of-year project, where both associations will come together to deliver meaningful impact back home in Gulf Province.
This is more than just a partnership—it is a commitment to leadership, service, and building a better future for our communities. We look forward to an impactful and inspiring 2026 together.

🎓 Congratulations to the UPNG GSU Class of 2025! 🎓
As you prepare to walk across the stage next week, take a moment to reflect on how far you’ve come. The late nights, the challenges, the sacrifices, and the determination have all led to this incredible achievement.
You are not just graduating with a degree, you are stepping into the world as leaders, thinkers, and changemakers. The journey hasn’t been easy, but you made it through with strength and resilience.
A special mention goes to Emmanuel Hauva, GSU Male Vice-President 2025, for your leadership, dedication, and service to the UPNG GSU. Your contribution has truly made a difference, and this achievement is well deserved.
May this milestone open doors to greater opportunities and inspire you to pursue your dreams with confidence. Carry forward the knowledge, friendships, and memories you’ve built along the way.
The future is yours. Go out and make your mark!
Congratulations once again, Class of 2025!

We, the UPNG Gulf Students Association, are proud to officially announce our newly appointed School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) Gulf Student Representatives.
These three leaders will serve as the main point of contact for all Gulf students at SMHS. We commend and appreciate them for stepping up to take on these important leadership roles.
For many years, there has been little to no connection between our main campus students and those at SMHS. This year, under the leadership of these representatives, we are hopeful to rebuild that relationship, reach all our Gulf students at SMHS, and work together on our programs and activities.
We pray that God blesses and guides these leaders as they serve. May 2026 be a powerful and impactful year for all SMHS Gulf students. 🙏✨

The UPNG Gulf Students Association is proud to officially announce its affiliation with the UPNG DRUGONS Association.
This strategic partnership enables us to operate effectively within the university campus under our DRUGONS affiliate, in line with SARO requirements, which do not permit standalone provincial groups. Through this collaboration, both associations will mutually share opportunities, benefits, and support.
We are also proud to highlight that our Founding President, Lora Lare, is a dedicated member of the UPNG DRUGONS Association, and our current President, Nathaniel Lavari, is equally a proud member of this historic association.
With this strong connection, the 2026 executives have taken the initiative to formalize this partnership, paving the way for stronger networks, meaningful collaborations, and greater opportunities for our members.
We believe this is a step forward that will bring growth, unity, and many blessings throughout the year.

🛑The UPNG GSU-Public Relations Committee 2026🛑
The team behind our voice, image, and communication ensures our association stays visible, connected, and well represented.
They will be responsible for covering all our events and activities, as well as designing posters and flyers to keep everyone informed and engaged through our Facebook platform.
This is a group of committed individuals who have stepped into leadership roles, taking ownership of how our story is told throughout the year. We are proud to have them working alongside the executive.
Special recognition to our PR Coordinator, Hannah Epavea, a dedicated member of the Gulf Students Association and our Facebook admin, for her continued commitment and leadership in this space.
Let’s support them as they lead the way in keeping our community informed and connected. 💯

🛑The UPNG GSU-Fundraising Committee 2026🛑
A committed team that is taking on one of the most important roles within our association and driving the efforts that keep our activities and initiatives alive.
As a non-profit, student-led association, we do not have guaranteed funding. We rely heavily on this team to lead and deliver the fundraising efforts that sustain everything we do throughout the year.
They will also take charge of organizing our major annual fundraising event, Gulf Night, a key initiative that supports our end-of-year project.
These individuals have stepped up as leaders, carrying the responsibility of ensuring our association continues to grow and operate.
We are proud to have them working alongside the Executive in this critical space.
Let’s get behind them and support their efforts as they take on this challenge and make it count. 💯
