It gives us great pleasure to release another year 12 student, Kevin Nema, into the world. Congratulations Kevin for completing your final course here with us.

After seeing another student of ours graduate this year, I can't help but urge us the older generation, parents and gaurdians, not to give up on our children and young people, yes times have changed and the pull of negative influence on our kids is extreme, making this generation, seem impossible to reach out to, but remember we we're all once young people ourselves, pulled away by our own desires in our time, we didn't know the way, we justified our wrongs, oh but thank God, someone older, a parent and uncle, aunty, bigger sibling, pastor, teacher etc, kept believing in us, someone older made it his/her mission to lead us through that dark valley even though we rebelled, rebelled and rebelled some more, yet someone kept praying for us, meeting our needs, knowing that by faith, God would meet us on the road and bring us back to ourselves, yes there is a place of punishment, but there must also be a place of redemption and the restoration of a child, we are strong today because someone older was brave enough to look past our flaws and mistakes and look where we are now. The saying is true 'want a bigger harvest, plant more seeds', therefore if you want to have greater impact on your child, spend more time with them, be interested in everything they do, both when they shine in their glory and when they dissapoint you, so before we attack this new generation, let's pray for them without seizing, let's stop, think, and remember that we were once young.....
