Today, the Caritas community joyfully celebrated the birthday of our beloved School Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Pedro Sachitula, SDB.

The celebration began with a Holy Mass, where Fr. Pedro shared an inspiring message that reminded us of the importance of faith, gratitude, and service. To make the occasion even more special, students and staff from Caritas Primary School, Caritas Technical Secondary School, and Caritas Business College came together to surprise him with heartfelt presentations and birthday wishes.

We are truly grateful for Fr. Pedro's spiritual guidance, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our school community. His kindness, wisdom, and servant leadership continue to inspire and positively impact the lives of our students, staff, and families.

On this special day, we thank God for the gift of Fr. Pedro and for the many blessings he brings to our community. We wish him good health, happiness, strength, and many more fruitful years in his priestly ministry.

✨ 25 May 2026 | Feast of Mary Help of Christians ✨

With hearts full of faith and gratitude, the Salesian Family — Salesians, Caritasians, and Bosconians — solemnly celebrated the Feast of Mary Help of Christians through a meaningful procession from Caritas Technical Secondary School, Caritas Business College, Caritas Primary School to Don Bosco Technical Institute while the praying of the Holy Rosary, and attended the Holy Mass.

The celebration reflected our deep devotion to our Blessed Mother, who continues to guide, protect, and inspire our community in the spirit of St. John Bosco. It was a beautiful moment of unity, prayer, and thanksgiving as students, teachers, parents, and friends came together to honor Mary, our Help and Mother.

The feast day celebration concluded with the Holy Mass at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in DBTI, reminding us all to continue living with faith, hope, and love under the loving care of Mama Mary.

PTA in Action!

The Parents and Teachers Association of Caritas Primary School and Caritas Technical Secondary School worked hand in hand with the Caritas staff in preparing hotdogs and distributing drinks for the students’ lunch during the celebration.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our generous benefactors, SVS 2 Mile Branch, Mr. Hidayet, for sponsoring the drinks for our students.

A special thank you as well to our dedicated volunteer parents whose time, effort, and generosity made this possible for our beloved students from Primary to College. Your spirit of service and cooperation truly reflects the family spirit of Caritas.

Caritas Technical Secondary School and Caritas Business College came together in unity and friendship, showcasing the true family spirit of the Caritas Schools community. Guided by the values of Love, Purity, and Diligence, as well as Competence and Compassion, the celebration became a meaningful expression of joy, teamwork, and solidarity in honor of Mary Help of Christians.

In line with the celebration of the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians, Caritas Technical Secondary School and Caritas Business College celebrated the feast day through sportsmanship, camaraderie, and joyful fellowship.

Guided by the values of Love, Purity, and Diligence, as well as Competence and Compassion, both schools enthusiastically showcased the vibrant family spirit that unites the Caritas Schools community.

Through friendly games, teamwork, and shared celebrations, students and staff strengthened the bonds of friendship and unity in honor of Mary Help of Christians.

May 22, 2026 — The Caritas Schools community came together in joy and faith as we celebrated the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians in advance at the Monsignor Vincent Cimatti Gymnasium.

The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Pedro Sachitula, SDB, together with Deacon Joel from Toko, South Western Nigeria as concelebrant.

The celebration was filled with vibrant singing, prayers, and a strong spirit of unity as students, teachers, staff, and the Salesian Family honored Mary Help of Christians. Though the official feast day falls on May 24, 2026, the Caritas community joyfully gathered in advance to express love, devotion, and gratitude to our Blessed Mother.
