📢 **IMPORTANT NOTICE – SCHOOL RESUMPTION UPDATE** 📢

Arawa Secondary School would like to inform all students, parents, and stakeholders that following the official directive from the Department of Education regarding the recent impacts of **Cyclone Maila**, the resumption of Term 2 classes was delayed for one week (13th–17th April 2026).

✅ **School will now officially resume on Monday, 20th April 2026.**

All students are expected to return to school on this date and be ready to continue with Term 2 classes. Teachers have prepared to cover missed lessons, including remedial work where necessary.

⚠️ We encourage:

* Students to travel safely and be mindful of road and weather conditions
* Parents/guardians to ensure students return on time
* Everyone to remain cautious as some areas may still be affected

The **2026 Registration Period officially CLOSES TODAY 4:06pm (Friday 23rd).**

All Parents and Guardians are urged to ensure your children are **properly registered before the deadline.**

📌 **Please Note:**
✅ Classes will **commence on Monday 26th January 2026**.
✅ Only **registered students** will be allowed into classes.
✅ After today, registration will be for **Transferring and Re-enrolment students only**.
✅ Students must complete registration first before entering classrooms.

We ask for your full cooperation to ensure a smooth start to the academic year.
