JSerra Catholic Mission Trip

¡Felices Pascuas! What a wonderful day it was. We attended Easter Mass at the Cathedral. Then in the afternoon we visited the girls home where we danced and had an Easter egg hunt.

Eventful day today in Piura. Food delivery, home building, goat herding, and giving out clothes. The students are really embracing the spirit of servitude on this Holy Saturday. We ended our night with the Easter vigil Mass.

Day 1- Today was amazing and we started it off with a tour of the school. We then got a chance to see a few of the churches and their animals. We had mass at 12 followed by ice cream with the kids. We took a break for lunch and went out to the market. After the market we ended off the day with the amazing girls at the women’s shelter. We are so blessed for a wonderful day!!

Tuesday April 22 - Another eventful day in Piura. Students herded sheep and goats, put on a magic show to teach students about mixing colors, made cookies in a culinary class, and more.

Monday, April 21 - A busy day serving the people of Piura. Visiting with the people, delivering food packages, running vacation Bible school, and construction of a chapel are just some of the ways we served.

Easter Vigil ✝️✝️

The crew went right to work cleaning houses and later went to holy Thursday mass.
