📢 Call for Applications – English Teacher in Pisac
We are Happy Apu, a new educational initiative located in the town of Pisac–Cusco (Peru). We are looking to add to our team an English teacher with a community-oriented vocation and an interest in contributing to the creation and development of our curriculum, as well as implementing a dynamic and creative teaching methodology.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Language, or related fields.
- Minimum C1 (advanced) level of English with accreditation (Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching children, adolescents, and adults.
- Knowledge of or interest in active methodologies (Montessori, project-based learning, gamification, etc.).
- Ability to adapt culturally and sensitivity to community life in Pisac.
- A vocation for promoting English learning as a tool for social and personal development.
Employment conditions and benefits:
- Modality: On-site in Pisac, Cusco. Willingness to reside in the town is desirable.
- Schedule: 24 to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with support on some Saturdays.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in curriculum design and selection of course materials.
- Implement active and creative teaching methodologies appropriate to each age group.
- Plan and deliver dynamic English classes at different levels and for different ages.
- Collaborate in cultural and community activities related to language learning.
- Contribute to the development of a sustainable, high-quality educational program in Pisac.
