Body of Water - Experimental 35mm short film

This was a challenging film to shoot in all the best ways. I wanted to create two distinct emotional worlds for the protagonist, using both colour and B&W film stock. For the 5213 uncorrected shots, I aimed for a denser negative to achieve a more desaturated, low-contrast look, contrasting with the high-contrast 5222 B&W shots, which I pushed +1 in development. I’m happy with the outcome as we achieved two very distinct world following her emotional journey.

Hey you guys, hosting this week.

Thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community of wonderful and talented people. ✨

I am based and grew up in England. Finding my love for cinema in social realism, falling in love with directors like Lynne Ramsay and Andrea Arnold. I gravitate towards human stories, allowing people to connect to one another and experience a different world from their own. I also shoot commercials and music videos, having fun experimenting with different techniques and styles.

With a background in painting and photography, I enjoy creating something from nothing. Being able to translate emotion to visuals is, for me, the heart of what I do. Which I love more and more every day.

I’m a graduate of in Los Angeles and am represented by .artists.
