At Mama Ayni, everything begins closer to the source.
The fibers, the landscapes they come from, the hands that shape them…
We’re drawn to a way of creating that stays in relationship with it. slower, more intentional, with respect for both land and maker.
A practice of Ayni in everything we do.
A way of living, a way of creating.
Happy Earth Day 🌎🌍🌏

Did you know?
Baby alpaca isn’t just soft... It’s hypoallergenic, temperature-regulating, and known for feeling really steady on the skin. Many people also notice it feels calming to wear 🦋 warm without overheating, soft without irritation.
What you wear actually affects how your body feels.
Your skin is constantly responding to fabric, and natural fibers like alpaca, wool, linen, and cotton tend to feel more balanced and breathable than synthetics.
Natural fibers don’t trap heat and moisture in the same way synthetic fabrics often do.
They allow the skin to breathe, which can help reduce irritation, overheating, and that “clamped” feeling you sometimes get from plastic-based materials. They also tend to move more naturally with the body, instead of creating static or friction.
Over time, this can simply feel better on the nervous system — less stimulation, more ease, more regulation.
And sometimes, that difference is something you only really understand once you’ve worn it.

Elegance ✨
Draped in a black Mama Ayni cape against the timeless beauty of Cusco 🤍
This cape is adorned with Andean symbols of Coca Leaves 🍃and Father Sun 🌞 Every cape is intricately woven with Andean symbology, calling in specific energies and abundance.
The weavers ceremonially set each loom with a K’intu prayer using sacred Coca leaves.
🍃 These three leaves represent the three worlds in Andean cosmovision: the lower world (the underworld or shadows)the middle world (our present 3D reality)and the upper world (the higher celestial realms)
The Father Sun (ayta Inti) symbolizes life, energy, and fertility 🌞
