Leg Two of the Oman 3165 Expedition began two days ago, as the kayak returned to the water just north of Masirah Island.

More exciting educational projects are now underway, alongside continued data collection and many spectacular sunrises ahead before reaching the Oman–Yemen border later in February.

Sea snakes, flying fish, sea caves, leaping rays, warm Omani hospitality, and virtual meetings with students from California to Scotland have defined the past few days as our Oman 3165 Expedition continues by kayak.
Leaving behind the wild, dramatic coastline of Musandam, the team is now progressing south along the sandy and more settled shores of Al Batinah. After reaching Sohar, the birthplace of Sindbad, earlier today, we are now camped under an acacia tree in a small wadi, preparing to join Reach the World for an online session with classrooms across the USA.
