About Dom

Dominique is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and teacher with over 10 years of experience across styles including Heels, Reggaeton, and various dance fusions. Originally from Santiago, Chile, she trained for 3–4 years with B-Roses before moving to New Zealand.

She began teaching five years ago at different dance studios such as Hit Dance Studio, Viva Dance, Latin Dance NZ and Kinetic Dance Studio. In 2023, she founded Fuego Urbano, now developed into a beginner training program, where she continues as director.

In 2024, Dominique founded Spice It Up, a dance event company. She has also worked as a dancer and choreographer for international and Latin artists, performed as a go-go dancer at Bresh, Latin Club NZand open clubs, and served as a judge at the 2025 New Zealand Latin Dance Championships.

Term 2 FloorPlay Fridays with Tess
Open Level- everyone welcome
6pm Fridays
Starts 1st May

With a long-standing background in jazz and as a practising physiotherapist, Tess brings the perfect mix of flavour, finesse, and fancy moves. She’s passionate about correct body movement and muscle use, helping you dance stronger, safer and with plenty of spicy movements.

Her classes will break down movements and techniques with a focus on those tricky floor moves.
