My daughter is fund-raising for her school trip to Great Barrier Island. This is an amazing outdoor opportunity to break barriers and comfort zones, practise and learn some essential life and leadership skills.

My daughter is has just finished a few days satisfying farm work, thanks to our cousins who generously offered her that opportunity.

Fund raiser for Great Barrier Island trip

🌞🏕🌄🛶🏝🧭🌬🌊🌠

My daughter is fund-raising for her school trip to Great Barrier Island. This is an amazing outdoor opportunity to break barriers and comfort zones, practise and learn some essential life and leadership skills.

Through her high school, our daughter has been accepted for this awesome adventure, 4 weeks of exciting water and land activities, in the beautiful setting of Great Barrier Island. No cell phones! Leadership and life skills include self management, organisation, cooking, cleaning, tramping, co-operation, creating memories and friends.

An inspiration to her younger siblings, our daughter is hard working, responsible, adventurous, and courageous. She has a love of the outdoors, is experienced with camping, tramping, fishing and hunting, and is keen to experience other outdoor adventures and challenge herself.

The cost of this life changing adventure is over 4k, plus the outdoor gear needed, and we are supporting our daughters efforts to make money to fund this opportunity.
