Today marks 10 years since the passing of Mrs Julie Appleton Seymour. Her dedication and advocacy for dancing lives on to this day through Miss Tutu’s School of Dance. Today we honour a woman who was a dancer, a teacher, a mother and a friend. Her passion for dancing brought many people together, here in our local community and across NZ and the world. In memory of Mrs Seymour our dance schools competition committee, Strathmore Highland Dancing CHB, is holding a remembrance competition. Watch this space for dates and further information. This competition will be one special day filled with all the things Mrs Seymour loved about dancing. ❤
