Thank you everyone who have sent your best wishes and said such lovely things about Playdays. It has meant a lot to us all! Well Christmas is just hours away and we hope you all have a great day! We will re-open on Thursday 27th December at 10am with our closing down sale. There will be 40% off everything in store (excluding second hand items and already reduced stock). Hours for those last days will be 10am to 3pm. Our last day will be 31st December.

If you haven't heard yet Playdays will be closing permanently in January. A big thank you to all of you for your support over the years. We have had a fantastic six years in Petone but time to move on to new adventures!

Time to get into gear for Xmas! We will be open as usual until 4pm Xmas eve. In addition we will be open every Thursday evening until 8pm. We will have 20% off everything in store on the Thursday late nights 4pm - 8pm.

Last of the Sylvanian Families are now 40% off! There is a Courtyard Restaurant, Beauty Salon, Dress shop and lots of families! Add to your collection!!

Petone Winter Carnival will be on Saturday 25th August. It will begin at 12pm and finish with the Pelorus Trust Fireworks at 7.30pm. www.petonecarnival.co.nz

Petone Winter Carnival The Petone Carnival. Lower Hutt's premier event. Held on the Petone Foreshore on Saturday 25 August 2012, over 40,000 people are expected to attend for a day of low cost family entertainment - there's something for everyone!

Saw my first daffodil this week! Spring is not so far away! Hate to mention Xmas to you all but it is on its way. We are happy to start laybys now for Xmas so for those of you who like to be organised come and see our new products!

Hope you are enjoying the school hols even though the weather isn't being very kind!! We now have all the remaining Le Toy Van toys at 50% off! There are still a couple of doll houses and the beautiful Hob set as well as cute figures and vehicles. Come and get yourself a bargain and be ready for Xmas!! Keep warm!

A BIG Thank You to all of you who came along and helped us to celebrate our 5th birthday last week and a big congratulations to all of our prize draw winners!! We are looking forward to Petone Fair on Saturday. Hope the weather behaves!!
