Madison Nuttall (S9JP) has been selected for 'United Care - Kids Leadership Programme'
Its a great opportunity for them to learn about the NZ government and engage in some exciting discussions and learning opportunities alongside this great group of children. Per official website, "This inspiring group of young leaders represents around 20 schools across four cities in Aotearoa New Zealand — Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Each child has stepped into a ministry role, building confidence, understanding leadership, and learning how to contribute meaningfully to their communities from an early age."
Congratulations, Madison! We are so excited for what you will experience.

Ngā Manu Kōrero was held on Friday 29th May at St Patrick's College, Silverstream. Sacred Heart College did an outstanding job, with speakers participating in all four sections. We had six speakers: Maia Morgan and Harper Carey in Junior English, Aria Campbell in Junior Māori, Alex Doile in Senior English and Tracey Tupuivao in Senior Māori. All the speakers had a good crack at it, and despite not placing, it was a positive learning experience. Ka rawe, girls!

Singing Success X3 - Nationals, here we come 🎵🎶
Last night, three of our singing groups competed at the Regonal Championships. All three qualified for Nationals with The Sweethearts Quartet gaining 2nd place, Heart's Chor Chorus gaining 2nd place, and Open Heart Symphony Chorus gaining 3rd place.
This is testament to the hard work of our students and the amazing Georgia Jamieson Emms, who has been working hard to restore our singing programme to its former glory. We are so excited to see what these groups can achieve at the National Championships.
