Kia ora koutou,

As the host schools for this event this year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our participating kura, tamariki, and kaimahi for coming together to make the Upper Hutt Schools' Cultural Festival 2026 such a memorable and uplifting day.

It was a true privilege to stand together and celebrate the culture, talent, and dedication of our tamariki across Upper Hutt. We are especially honoured to have partnered with Ōrongomai Marae as they celebrate their 50th anniversary, and we extend our deepest gratitude to the marae for inviting us to be a part of this special milestone.

As we reflect on this year's event, we would love to gather as much feedback as possible from our kura and community to help guide what the festival looks like moving forward. Please take a few moments to share your thoughts using the link below.

🥎 GIVE SOFTBALL A GO! 💙💛

Thinking about playing softball this season? Come down and meet the Totara Park Softball Club whānau!

We’re a proud family club with something for everyone — juniors, adults, beginners, returning players and experienced players. Come along, meet the club, have a go and learn some new skills.

We’ll also be supporting our coaches and anyone keen to give coaching a go, with skills, drills and opportunities to build your coaching confidence and knowledge.

Kia ora,
We have a couple of events coming up and we need baking, please!
This Saturday 15th August - Fundraiser at the netball courts. We will be selling baked goods. Please deliver baking to school by 3pm this Friday.
Wednesday 19th August - We are hosting the Cultural Festival. We want to show everyone what great hosts we are. Please deliver baking to school by 3pm on Tuesday 18th August.
