It's Ready!

Over 1 month of effort, over 700 files, and over 50,000 lines of code later, we have just released our new student website!

You will not find another martial arts class in Tauranga (or maybe even further) with such an extensive range of student resources and support features such as:

✅ Tactics and Training - Methods unique to Ryukenkan Ryukyu Kempo, and enhanced over the last 20 years, 2026 is the first time we have openly taught these tactical training skills. You will learn the phases of protection and how and when to use them.

✅ Rank Progression - You can track how close you are to your next test, monitor performance and improvement.
✅ Test Scores - You will be able to see how you scored on every test since you began training

✅ Challenge Badges - Think you're good at something? We can make sure you get the badge to prove it!
✅ Chat Rooms - Got questions? Ask them in our chat rooms and other people can help you with answers.

How did we do all this in one month? It must have cost a fortune!

No. We designed and built the website at no cost, using the skills of our own members.

When family train together, it makes the journey into a part of their combined life stories.

We have taught dozens of families over the years. Here in NZ, in the USA, and we have helped bring new families together as training friends became partners and moved across the world to build families.

Building a shared family experience by training together is something that makes martial arts unique compared to other past times and sports.

It's great when competent and capable martial artists see value in what we bring to the dojo.

It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a veteran, we can help you lift your skills.

There is no one else, no where else in New Zealand who can teach Ryukyu Kempo like we do.

We brought the traditional, complete art to New Zealand 20yrs ago. No one else has the experience we have.
