I couldn't agree more! You ARE stronger learners, you ARE more dedicated and you've DEFINITELY built that perseverance and strengthened your resilience!

Wow what an afternoon!! We’re fully cleared to reopen bright and early tomorrow morning!
A huge, heartfelt thank you to our amazing families for being so fast on your feet and picking up your children early today!
When our teachers sniffed a strong smell of gas earlier, they sprang right into action and safely moved everyone to the library and well clear of the gas odor. The Fire Brigade were called and they managed to trace the leak to a neighbouring property.
A quick health note: Emergency services let us know that if anyone is feeling a bit under the weather from the fumes, a dose of fresh air should do the trick fast. If anything persists, definitely check in with your doctor.
Thank you all again for your fantastic team effort in keeping our school community safe. We can't wait to welcome everyone back tomorrow!

This Wednesday, schools across the nation, celebrated the tumuaki of their schools, on the official " National Principal Appreciation Day"...

However, our Mrs Nieuwboer was so incredibly dedicated to her job, scouting school camp sites and attending meetings with others principals on Wednesday, that we decided to show her all our appreciation today, with a surprise redecorating of her office, a poetry reading and award ceremony at assembly and a lovely shared morning tea for staff.

Thank you, Mrs Nieuwboer, for all that you do for our school, our students and our wonderful Catholic and local community. We appreciate you everyday, but are pleased to show you a little extra aroha today!

The weather this afternoon was gorgeous... what a perfect time and opportunity to test our Wonder Project prototypes, right? 😎

Congratulations to you, Harrie for completing the only successful rocket launch out of 3 attempts. 💫

I'm not even mad that it landed on the roof! 😆

Special thanks to Mrs M for braving the heights to retrieve it for us... 😅

As for everybody else, I hope we've all learned a valuable design lesson. 🤔

Our rockets won't fly if there isn't anyway to build up air pressure! In our next launch attempt, I'm sure our Roncalli engineers will refrain from cutting into their bottle bases!

Even the strongest tape couldn't handle the PSI! But sometimes trial and error is the fastest way to learn. 😃
