We provide a broad education for tamariki from Years 1 to 8 and our current roll is 45. We are pleased to offer small class sizes and passionate teachers who love teaching. Our numerous resources include an orchard, edible gardens ( planted and cared for by the tamariki), a swimming pool and tennis courts. We are very proud of our well cared for grounds and are surrounded by countryside, rivers an
d mountains. We have the benefit of close proximity to two well resourced towns, Te Awamutu and Otorohanga, while facilities of the city are only 30 minutes away in Hamilton. We have high expectations for all our tamariki learning and we continually support them to progress and experience success. We utilise all available resources to achieve this, including people, our environment and technologies. We aim to provide many of the opportunities that tamariki would have available in larger schools. Every year we have our annual Agricultural Day and every third year we host the Group Day. Year 7 and 8's attend an offsite Technology and Arts programme. Senior students participate in a combined Senior Leadership Programme with several other rural schools and have a range of leadership opportunities in the school itself. We have an Enviro Nurturers Group which will lead implementation of an Enviro Plan, culminating in EnviroSchools' Children's Day later in the year. We respect our bicultural heritage and provide Te Reo me Tikanga Maori and have a school Kapa Haka group.
