Pillans Point School International Students

Coastal Discovery is a hands-on outdoor education programme that our Year 5 and 6 students have participated in this week at the Mount Maunganui sand dunes. Through engaging in practical activities and exploring the coastal environment, students have developed a deeper understanding of the unique features and importance of our local coastline.

Our youngest students have published their very first picture books! They have been busy writing and typing their stories this week. We think their sentences are amazing!

Jumping June took over Pillans Point School today! Students filled the playground with excitement as they skipped, jumped, and bounced at various times throughout the day.

There was lots of excitement tonight at our annual disco!

We are so proud of our work this week. We have been reading narratives and writing a story together. Students have been learning about story structure as they prepare for narrative writing in their classrooms.

Welcome to our newest student, who joins her big brother at our school. We are so happy you are here and look forward to seeing you learn, grow, and make many happy memories with us.

It was our adventurous and very excited Year One students who enjoyed exploring Puketoki Reserve and Omokoroa Domain on another gorgeous autumn day.

Tīrāiraka students were the adventurous learners today, and we had another fabulous day out in nature, enjoying the sunshine.
