More from our learning experience at EastPack Limited Washer Rd!

Continuing our learning about Te Puke - the Kiwifruit Capital of the World! 🥝

Yesterday, we had the awesome opportunity to visit EastPack Limited on Washer Road and discover what happens to our kiwifruit after it’s picked. 🌱
We got to tour the packhouse, see the process in action, and even have a go at packing kiwifruit ourselves! 🥝

A massive shoutout to Jed Butler for organising the whole trip and making sure we got the most out of this awesome experience. 👏💚

What a fun, hands-on day of learning, exploring and getting a behind-the-scenes look at one of Te Puke’s biggest industries! 🥝🌿✨

✨ HAPPY RAKHRI! ✨
Today we celebrated Raksha Bandhan, also known as Rakhri! ✨
We learned that “Raksha” means protection 🛡️ and “Bandhan” means bond or relationship. We talked about the special meaning behind Rakhri and why this beautiful celebration is celebrated.
To make it extra special, we created our very own Rakhri bracelets for each other! 🎨🧵We wrote down who we were making our Rakhri for and shared something special about how that friend supports us, cares for us, and makes us feel loved.
It was such a fun and meaningful celebration filled with creativity, kindness, friendship and lots of smiles! 🌟😊
