InTuition offers structured literacy and maths instruction for everyone, including those with learning difficulties such as dyslexia and ADHD. Whilst we originally worked with primary and intermediate aged children, we realised that there are a huge number of young people in college who are falling below literacy expectations. Due to this we have opened up our services to all ages, adults included
. Structured literacy is scientifically proven to be the best way to teach everyone to read, for some (such as those with dyslexia) it may be the only way that they will learn to read, write and spell. We are passionate about literacy education and we don't stop at reading, spelling and writing sentences. We have a huge skill set developed over many years and have the tools to teach, students extended writing and skills such as developing their authorial voice. At InTuition we have been teaching this way for over 15 years both in the main-stream and at our home education hub in the UK, and for the past two years in a New Zealand Primary school, where we shaped literacy intervention across the whole school. With a proven track record in specialist literacy teaching, and currently working towards the Australian Dyslexia Association Accreditation form the IMSLE, a degree in English studies and Experience with neurodiversity, both personally and as a special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO), your child could not be in better hands.
