Learning Adventures Te Puke

Outdoor exploration sparks curiosity, creativity and confidence in our tamariki. From building with magnetic pieces, to experimenting with water & sand, creating beautiful artwork/collage together and exploring in the secret garden, children were busy learning through hands-on experiences in our outdoor environment.
“ Children learn through responsive and reciprocal relationships with people, places and things.” ( Ministry of Education, 2017).

Down side to our beautiful big biilding is you need a really big ladder to fix a light, lucky local company Stride Electrical are up to the big jobs.

There was so much fun and creativity happening in the sandpit this morning. A group of friends worked together to build, dig, share ideas and problem solve as they explored the sand and created their own imaginative world 😊

For pink shirt day we dressed in pink, played with pink playdough and pink slime, and maybe best of all we decorated and ate pink biscuits. To remember to speak up stand up and stop bullying.

This year, we're supporting The Kindness Collective's PJ Project.
