Learning through doing, creating and exploring !!
With curiosity and enthusiasm, tamariki explored using real tools to work with wooden pieces, developing their fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration and problem-solving abilities along the way. It was wonderful to see them practising patience and building confidence as they discovered how tools can be used to create and construct. Most importantly, they were learning through meaningful, hands-on experiences while having lots of fun.😊

At Learning Adventures, we value providing meaningful experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and a love for the environment.

Playing alongside others helps children learn that everyone has valuable ideas to contribute and that working together makes play even more enjoyable.

Today our tamariki enjoyed exploring a colourful cornflour and water activity outdoors. Using brushes, they painted, mixed, experimented, and created their own masterpieces on the concrete.

Today our tamariki enjoyed a fun creative experience using scissors, glue, and colourful, patterned paper. Learning through art helps build the foundations for writing, strengthens little hands, and gives tamariki the opportunity to express themselves in unique and meaningful ways.

We enjoyed our Lunchbox Day, with tamariki excited to unpack their lunchboxes and share lunchtime with their friends. Mealtimes are a wonderful opportunity to build independence as children practise opening containers, making choices about what to eat, and taking responsibility for their own belongings.
