School Livestock Day - Exciting Collaboration with Tauhei Combined School

Dear Parents and Whaanau,

We are excited to let you know that this year's Livestock Day will be a combined event with Tauhei Combined School.

By joining together, we have the opportunity to create an even bigger and better day for our students, families, and wider communities. Some of the benefits of combining our Livestock Day include:

A larger event with more students participating and showing their animals.

Increased opportunities for tamariki to meet and connect with peers from another rural school.

More competition across all sections, making the event even more exciting and rewarding.

The chance to share resources, knowledge, and expertise between both schools.

A fantastic community atmosphere, bringing together families and supporters from both school communities.

We believe this collaboration will provide a memorable experience for our students while celebrating the dedication, and hard work they put into raising and preparing their animals.

Good afternoon all,

As of next week Sophie Marshal will be on leave. To Sophie - as you begin this exciting new chapter, we want to wish you all the very best for the arrival of your little one.

Thank you for your dedication and hard work. You have been a positive contributor to Tahuna School and we value the work you have done.

Guess the Baby Competition!

Can you work out which member of staff is hiding behind each baby photo?

How to Play:

Carefully look at all the baby photos on display.
Study each photo closely for clues. Do you recognise a smile, dimples, curly hair, or a cheeky expression?

Grab an entry form from the box outside the office where photos are displayed.
Write the number of the baby photo next to the name of the staff member you think it belongs to.
Complete your answer sheet with your best guesses.

Hand your completed sheet in by 3pm Friday 26th June (Week 10) .
Rules

No asking staff members for hints!
No changing your answers after they have been submitted.
Have fun and remember that some staff members may look very different now than they did as babies!
A prize will be awarded to the person in each category with the most correct matches.
