Over the school holidays were packed with a mixture of kindy gym, science experiments and creations... and of course the visit to the big farm to care for the horses and feed our lamb.

The experiment we did with the primary school aged children was with sugar and cucumber (trying to see if it tasted like watermelon).
creation were a little special like making gummies out of jelly and gelatine.
My mum also brought over her big collection of little garden so these got potted in record time with everyone jumping into help.

We also had a lot more fun with making slides and huts out of items around the house.

Today we went out on the big farm to see the horses. The kiddies loved seeing Rio Horse and Bailey Horse 🥰

This afternoon we had a very exciting visitor. Meg the sheep dog.
All the kiddies were excited to watch Meg work and help Trish get the sheep into the round pen.

Kia Ora I’m Cabie.
I am a mum of a ten-year-old boy who went through home-based childcare.
This is where I fell in love with the in-home concept for growing young minds.
I’m new to the Little Red Fox team, and I am very excited to bring my love and
passion of nature into everyday learning for the children.
Our lifestyle block in Riverlands provides the perfect learning environment to create
opportunities for discovery, creativity and problem-solving that helps with developing
inquisitive minds.
Interacting with natural environments allows children to learn by doing and
experiment with ideas as well as thinking, questioning, and make hypotheses.
I am currently enrolled to study a Level 4 certificate in Early Childhood Education and first aid certified.
