🌏✨ Come along and support our tamariki! ✨🌏

We’re excited to be taking part in the St Joseph’s School Cultural Festival this Friday, 4th September, at MainPower Stadium from 4:30–7:30pm.

Our wonderful tamariki will be performing on stage at around 4:50pm, and we’d love for our whānau, friends and wider community to come along, cheer them on and enjoy this special celebration of culture together. ❤️

We hope to see you there! 🎶🌺🙌

Our Preschool Room (2–3 years) had a fantastic bus adventure to Pegasus yesterday! 🚌
We’re so lucky to have a bus stop right outside Peppertree. The children loved the bus ride, spotting animals, cars, trucks, and houses along the way, before enjoying a play at the park. So many smiles, new experiences, and lots of fun—what a highlight! 🌳✨

On Thursday, we headed to the Chamber Gallery to see our artwork displayed in the Children's Matariki Exhibition. We were so excited to see the pieces we created proudly on display!

A huge ngā mihi to the Chamber Gallery for inviting us to participate each year. It’s always such a special opportunity and a highlight of our Matariki celebrations. 🌟🎨

Our tamariki have created beautiful artwork inspired by Matariki, now proudly on display alongside creations from other North Canterbury early childhood centres at the Chamber Gallery in Rangiora. ✨

This week we have been busy out in our community celebrating our amazing volunteers!
A huge shout-out to the incredible volunteers at the Rangiora Volunteer Fire Brigade, Hato Hone St John, Rangiora Fruit Forest, Cancer Society of New Zealand, and the The Salvation Army, who all do amazing work supporting our community.
Ngā tamariki enjoyed learning about the different ways people give their time, skills, and care to help others. We are so grateful for the positive difference these volunteers make every day ❤️

Ngā tamariki have been learning about the stars of Matariki, with today's focus being on Ururangi, the star connected to the winds of the sky. After creating their own kites, we headed to Victoria Park to put them to the test and enjoy the windy conditions. The excitement and joy on the children's faces as their kites soared through the sky was wonderful to see.

Our fabulous kaiako Savanah is representing Peppertree and Little Peppertree in the Raine and Horne Big Splash on Friday 26th June. This event is to raise money for local charity Rachel’s House. If you like to support her use the QR code on the poster to donate ❤️💦
