If I could sit down with my younger self… ❤️
I’d tell her that the little girl who loved playing with hair had no idea where it would take her.
That hair would become a career spanning over 20 years, take her around the world, introduce her to incredible people and give her opportunities she never could have imagined.
I’d tell her there will be days when she questions herself, feels like she’s not good enough, or wonders if she’s made the right choices. Keep going. Every client, every mistake, every course, every long day and every new technique is shaping the hairdresser you’re becoming.
Don’t be afraid to keep learning. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Your style will evolve, your skills will grow, and one day you’ll look back and realise just how far you’ve come.
So, little Niamh… keep playing with that hair. You’re going to build a career out of it. And you’re going to be pretty damn proud of yourself. 🤍✂️
