📕Want to support learning at Home?
✏ Want some extra support with writing?
📱Want them off TikTok and studying?

⭐The answer is SCRIBO!

Currently all our Year 7 - 10's are using a writing tool called SCRIBO in class, fully funded by the ministry.

Students are being assigned tasks in their classes, where they write to a prompt and can get instant personalised feedback using the power of AI. Students can then use this feedback to improve their writing right away!

There are also mini lessons to improve their writing skills - from grammar, to spelling, to structure.

✅Get them to log on at home using their school google account, and complete any tasks outstanding at home!

✅Get them to check their feedback on completed tasks to see their next steps!

✅Or try some of the mini lessons. If they click on the "skill builder" they can explore a range of skills to focus on.

Next Week the second opportunity for CAA Exams start, as well as our derived grade exams. Check out the schedule below!

It is vital that students attend these in order to gain literacy/numeracy and have a grade in case of an emergency during the NCEA exams in November.

Rangatahi should be preparing for these, with study at home. They can also pop in on Wednesday afterschool study sessions for some extra help.

Learning definitions, answering practice questions and making study notes are all great ways for them to independently prepare.
