NEWSLETTER WEEK 3
It is a wonderful time for our school community and our latest newsletter is now available via the usual channels.

We have enjoyed a brilliant Grandies Day, welcomed our very own ‘Jess’ the cow, and this week we work in partnership with SLCs to ensure we are supporting our children to become the best versions of themselves. After all it takes a village to raise a child!

In this week’s Gospel (Matthew 14:22–33), Peter shows us that true courage isn't the absence of doubt, but choosing to move forward because we trust we are not alone. We all encounter moments when the waves feel huge, and at times overbearing. During all these moments, remember; 'YOU are not alone'.

As the sun continues to shine, we are reminded to reflect the light of Christ in all that we do and to appreciate life is a gift from God.
Blessings to you all and thank you for supporting our school community.

Grandparents & Grandfriends Day Celebration!

What a wonderful day celebrating all of our amazing grandparents and grandfriends! It was fantastic to see everyone getting into the spirit and dressing up in costumes to match the colours of their grandchildren's whānau (house) groups.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, with a special shout-out to Westpac for generously donating and cooking sausages for the entire crowd - we are so blessed!

A highlight of the day was the wonderful surprise visit from Jess our cow, which brought so many smiles to young and old alike!

Our student leaders did a superb job leading the way, running everything from crafts and games to a competitive tower-building challenge. Between reminiscing about the "days of old" and enjoying some great entertainment, it was an unforgettable day for our school community.
Thanks to everyone for being part of it!

Everyone, meet Jess!!!

Jess is our newest enrolment! Her official blessing and welcome are happening in the coming days, but she made a surprise arrival and was installed right in the middle of Grandies Day (how amazing was that timing?!).

We certainly made the most of it and had a wee celebration to mark the occasion. With our children and grandies adorned in their whānau colours, it made for such a wonderful spectacle!
PLEASE IF YOU DO MAKE A VISIT TO JESS OVER THE WEEKEND, WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU STAY OFF THE CONCRETE PLINTH, AND OFF JESS HERSELF.

Mānawatia a Matariki!

Matariki is a time to celebrate whānau and all the precious moments. A time to huddle together and stay warm. We share kai, we share stories, we farewell our loved ones that have gone before us and give thanks for the year ahead.

Ma tātou katoa a Matariki - Matariki belongs to all of us.
