We have exceeded our goal! A massive thank you to everyone who contributed towards our fundraiser. All of your donations, big and small, have enabled us to create something truly invaluable for our Marudao Karate community in Peria valley.
It is a great metaphor for the same work we do in the Dojo - through the energy that each individual puts into their practice, something far greater than the sum of it’s parts is produced - a whole living atmosphere is created which inspires, uplifts and strengthens all of us.
Your generosity is so very much appreciated, and you can be sure that we all will be giving it back through the passion we put into our practice.
To always keep feeding each other in spirit, through this rich and vitalising martial way 👊
To our builders Mark and Raoul, thank you both so much for the hard work, time and energy you’ve put into creating our Dojo roof. You’ve done such an amazing job and produced a stunning work of art to cover us from the rain while we train!

I’d like to give thanks also to Greig for getting the foundation posts into the ground with me, to Rachel for organising these fundraisers to give us the resources we need, to Garth for your assistance and problem-solving at various stages of construction, and to all others who have contributed in some way to the gradual evolution of our Dojo.
