Don't be confused, we didnt cancel our favoriate Lego Movie program, We didnt remove Lego Wedo 2.0 Robots day in our Term1' 21 school holiday program. The YES camp is for ww1(21~23rd, April) at beachland. But in case you are too busy and cant send your kids to our YES Camp, our school holiday program is ww2 (26~30th, April) at 64 pigeon mountain road Scouts Den will be the same amazing. We are so happy to run our STEAM Camp with our partner, greenfield forrest school NZ at beautiful beachland. The S.T.E.A.M camp will focus on nature, local bio and animal study during 21~23 April,2021. For the 1st time, we will bring S.T.E.A.M (Sci/Tech/Engineering/Art/Math) to outside world and our students will find those secrets in the nature with our professional tutors. Here are the highlite of our programs.

Before lockdown, I seeded some book Chou seedlings in my vegi garden, but quickly I found those are also favorite food for slug and snail. Trying different methods and none of them are satisfying. Why not brain storming with our students and get some solutions. This turned to a term long smart slug detector project. After some research, we come out a solution to detect slug with electronic and microbit coding. Students also learned how to use their learning creatively to solve a real life problems. Learning is never limited to the classroom. There should be more fun learning in real life, that is exactly what we makerstudio want to do.

A wonderful time spend with a group of teachers from pigeon mountain primary school. A successful run the STEAM PDL training for our local teachers. Some teachers are so excited and want to use their learning into their coming matariki projects . Waiting for their good news. So learning is all about sharing.
